We recommend Castro Stoneworks unequivocally! They just finished a large project in our backyard, and it was done competently and professionally from beginning to end. Carlos was there to inspect every day, and he and his crew were exceptional in the design and installation of the entire project. We talked to many masonry contractors; Castro Stoneworks was (and is) the best!

I do my homework wen it comes to contractors, and it took me 8 months to find the PERFECT one! Carlos and his crew are incredible. I had a very large project that I needed done in my back yard. We needed to grade a hill, erect a retaining wall, rip out old deck and patio, erect two sets of large stoops, lay a concrete base for a new paver patio approximately 3,500 square foot in size, pour footings for a pavilion, and lay all new pavers on my walkway, by my pool and lay new coping around my pool. I started with the retaining wall but after I saw how meticulous, old world European style of masonry these professionals exhibited - I knew that Carlos will be doing the rest of my job. AND after all that I asked if he could reface my house with stones! I didn't want to let Carlos and his guys leave :) The crew showed up every day on time. Worked all day. Left the construction zone super clean every night. Communicated with us frequently and were super courteous. Carlos was on site nearly every morning - making sure everything met his high standards. He made sure every footing was deep enough, every pitch was perfectly sloped and that we were satisfied with every step of the project. He made recommendations, called in favors for materials (we were during this project at the height of the pandemic so it was very difficult to get materials!) and kept checking with us frequently to make sure we were happy. Everyone that comes over asks who did my work. I am so proud of the way my back yard looks. Carlos has gained a customer for life. I cannot say enough amazing things about his professionalism, his demeanor and his good and honest nature. Top act all the way. We are so lucky we found you Carlos! Carlos is easy to work with and really makes every effort to make the customer happy. The work is high quality, with no shortcuts taken. He is constantly checking on the job sites. This is the second job we've had done by Carlos and his team and we couldn't be happier!

Just to get it out of the way as early as i can my experience with Castro Stoneworks was exceptional. With that said i met Carlos Castro after another masonry company backed out of the work at my house .I reached out to a friend for a referral and he gave me Carlos's cell phone number and website Once i saw the website i thought no way is this company coming to my house to install an 800 sq feet patio and walkway. His work on his website is very telling about Carlos and his company. His worked is based in the Hamptons mostly. Need i say more. I decided to reach out to Carlos and he showed up at my house on time and dressed in a professional manner. I told him of my thoughts on my walkway and patio and he spoke with me in detail about the work and made me feel very comfortable. I asked Carlos about some ideas I had and we went thru each one. He measured and took his time like this was big job. I was impressed right then. I received a very reasonable quote a few days later in a PDF format in my email. Once i looked t the price i knew i would be using Castro Stoneworks. His prices were on par with the big companies. Carlos told me when he could start the job and its completion. In the mean time he sent me to all County Block to check out the stone color i wanted because Carlos told me its better to see the stone in person .He was right big difference. I settled on Toffee Onyx Lite. The day came for the work and Carlos and his crew were at the house at 7:30 AM. I was greeted by all the workers with a "Good Morning". That was just the start. Carlos walked with me thru the project. He stayed and answered all my questions. One of the best parts of the job was his brother Roy who was the foreman of the crew. He answered my questions s he worked. Roy and his crew installed pop up drains on my walkway that are connected to my gutters so rain would not interfere with the brick. The crew also installed a pipe under my walkway to a small island in front of the house. This is to be used for future lighting or Irrigation. What a great idea. Carlos did all this without extra charge. Carlos was at my house for the five mornings the crew worked on the house. The crew worked from 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM for all the days they were at my house. Carlos ordered the brick and the border from All County Block and it was there on time the first day. when the crew was ready for the concrete again it was there on time with no delays. I cant tell you how important that is to me to have work constantly being done and supplies being on time. The job was completed in the five days he said it would be. I could not be happier with the work, the crew and Carlos himself. If you are doing any type of masonry you have to give Castro Stoneworks a call. Carlos and his crew are very experienced in all phases of brick work. Carlos is a very humble person and easy to speak with. He has multiple crews working different jobs so your work will get done sooner than later. His crew and his brother Roy were extremely pleasant to speak with and did a wonderful job for me. I could not ask for anything more.The compliments i have received on the patio and walkway are so positive. One happy customer. We used Castro Stoneworks to remove our old pavers and install new ones. The job they did was outstanding and exceeded our expectations. The workers were here early every morning, and worked tirelessly throughout the day. When the job was done, they cleaned up as if we never had any construction done. I highly recommend Castro Stoneworks.

This project required a lot of thought and creativity and Carlos did an amazing job of transforming the look of entire pool area, to a safe and beautiful space in which our family can relax and enjoy.

Carlos and his crew did a terrific job installing a stone wall around a large irregularly shaped tree bed and new garden wall in my front yard, as well taking care of a few other odd jobs at my home. The work was first rate. Even more impressive was Carlos himself. I’ve hired many contractors over the years, but Carlos stands out as the best of the bunch. He was very responsive, quickly responding to questions, text messages and calls. He made it seem as though you’re his only customer despite the fact that he’s actually quite busy handling many jobs at the same time. He was an absolute pleasure to work with, and I recommend him without any reservation whatsoever.
