We recommend Castro Stoneworks unequivocally! They just finished a large project in our backyard, and it was done competently and professionally from beginning to end. Carlos was there to inspect every day, and he and his crew were exceptional in the design and installation of the entire project. We talked to many masonry contractors; Castro Stoneworks was (and is) the best!

I do my homework wen it comes to contractors, and it took me 8 months to find the PERFECT one! Carlos and his crew are incredible. I had a very large project that I needed done in my back yard. We needed to grade a hill, erect a retaining wall, rip out old deck and patio, erect two sets of large stoops, lay a concrete base for a new paver patio approximately 3,500 square foot in size, pour footings for a pavilion, and lay all new pavers on my walkway, by my pool and lay new coping around my pool. I started with the retaining wall but after I saw how meticulous, old world European style of masonry these professionals exhibited - I knew that Carlos will be doing the rest of my job. AND after all that I asked if he could reface my house with stones! I didn't want to let Carlos and his guys leave :) The crew showed up every day on time. Worked all day. Left the construction zone super clean every night. Communicated with us frequently and were super courteous. Carlos was on site nearly every morning - making sure everything met his high standards. He made sure every footing was deep enough, every pitch was perfectly sloped and that we were satisfied with every step of the project. He made recommendations, called in favors for materials (we were during this project at the height of the pandemic so it was very difficult to get materials!) and kept checking with us frequently to make sure we were happy. Everyone that comes over asks who did my work. I am so proud of the way my back yard looks. Carlos has gained a customer for life. I cannot say enough amazing things about his professionalism, his demeanor and his good and honest nature. Top act all the way. We are so lucky we found you Carlos!
