I engaged Yasir to replace a 30m long 1m high retaining wall with color bond fence on top. The wall is straight but that's the only positive of the experience. Everything was a fight, they tried to change the specs of the wall on day 1 due to unavailable materials despite paying a 50% deposit 6 weeks earlier, when I refused to pay extra the materials I wanted were suddenly available. There was no communication or effort to minimise the impact of the works on myself and my neighbour. Access impacts happen, but it isn't hard to tell someone that you need to use their driveway for a 5 days and can they move their cars out. Instead we found out as the truck reversed up the driveway. They attempted to move the wall off the boundary multiple times to minimise the amount of soil they needed to excavate/remove and in the end it moved forward 25mm so now none of the original paving can be relaid without cutting it. 2 of the foundations were dug 300mm too far forwards. They claimed they dug out the bottom to make sure it was big enough to support the wall but I'm not certain they did. The pavement that was removed to do the work was thrown in a pile with concrete rubble and general rubbish, instead of stacking neatly out of the way, this broke multiple pavers and spray painted marking on dozens as well. The site wasn't cleaned up at the end of the job and it took 8 hours of cleaning to tidy up the mess of mud. There are multiple chips and dings on the wall and fence and concrete that wasn't cleaned up everywhere that now won't come off with a pressure washer. There was minor damage done to my house and gutter which they didn't admit to doing. They didn't pay for the skip bin so the company refused to remove it for a week and a half after the job. Overall it was a stressful 2 weeks of managing and clean up. I wish I'd picked someone else.

Cashmere Landscaping built me a 62mtr long and 1.8 to 2.0m high retaining wall on my property, their work efforts and methods used were very positive and strongly customer supportive, my district in Brisbane is well known for the difficulties of digging holes due to the hard shale and shallow boulder problems. Yasir and his team did a fantastic job building a 20m long x1m high retaining wall with 1.8m high pine-lap fence on top. They were always on time and finished efficiently, despite some tough digging and tight access. They were great to deal with and cleaned up thoroughly on completion. Do not use this company. mowed my alderly mums lawn with no catcher and said he forgot it when questioned , my mum paid him because she didn’t know what to do. when my husband called him and said that you have to pay her back because we fixed it he lost it . Not happy be very very careful
