Casa Libelula holbox Beachfront house

Beautiful house literally on the beach! The owner and housekeeper were in touch prior to our stay to make sure we had all the info we needed, and then daily during our stay to make sure everything was ok. They offered food shopping and transportation if we needed it. We saw dolphins from the balcony one morning! Cannot fault this place and Holbox is not to be missed!

The hospitality was top notch for such an out of the way destination. Location couldn’t have been better! The house has Wi-Fi, plenty of space, comfortable beds, the showers are good. There’s a supply of drinking water that was very appreciated. I highly recommend this rental if you have the chan e. Communication via WhatsApp is accessible. Some Spanish speaking would be a plus but it’s not required.

ultimate beach house. Pay attention to that description: BEACH HOUSE. The house sits on a beautiful private beach with an outdoor indon't infinity pool. 3 bedrooms all with ocean views and king sizes beds. Now for the disclaimer. Do not expect to have state of the art showers. The shower head is a large seashell that pours out water with the pressure of a sink. Water is provided by the jug, but you gotta find your own way to get it out and chilled. There are 4 split air a/c in the rooms, but unless you like a humid house, set them all to 26C and closev the doors to get a truly cool room. All in all, just simply an amazing oasis on the best/worst kept secret of an island: Holbox!
