Carousel Children's Academy

Our daughter has been attending Carousel Academy since she was 7 months old (she just turned 3). Carousel is a wonderful center that truly cares about the well being of the children. Our daughter is excited to go to "school" every day to see her friends and teachers and to learn something new! I think this is a testament to the warm, nurturing and inviting atmosphere that has been created at Carousel. Every single day when we enter the building, we are greeted by the teachers with a warm smile/hello and a hug for our daughter - it has truly become a second family for us. I can tell that the staff genuinely care about the work they do and enriching the lives and enhancing the education of the children. We love the different events they put together (parents craft days, grandparents art days, parades, soccer practices, pajama days, multicultural celebrations, egg hunts, etc.) We weren't sure how long we were initially going to keep our daughter at Carousel because we had to make a quick decision after our maternity & paternity leave ran out (and the commute for us from work can be hard), but as you can see, here we are 2 1/2 years later! We have been beyond happy with the care that our daughter has received at Carousel Academy!

This is an amazing daycare and by far the best in the area. We absolutely love the school's facilities, curriculum and methods of communication. The teachers and staff are phenomenal! My child looks forward to going to school and spending with her happy & loving teacher and her friends. I am confident that my child is receiving the best care possible!

This is a wonderful preschool! My son hated letters and writing, but because of Carousel's methods (handwriting without tears) he is excited and confident about writing. My younger son lacked a bit of confidence. The teachers gave me concrete methods and quickly we saw a positive outcome that has really prepared my son (and us) going forward. The teachers and staff care about the children and each bring unique talents to the school. I love this place and so do my sons. I feel I am a better parent after being a part of the school and learning new methods. The student/teacher ratio is low too!

Could not be happier with this child care . Top notch staff, very caring management/directors and the owners are very involved and always happy to listen and take feedback. Their focus on education and overall well being of the children is beyond excellent. Facility is clean and well maintained with two large well equipped playgrounds. Strongly recommend this center for all your child care needs.

My daughter was in another daycare when we moved to Manassas and checked out the daycares closer to us. We immediately loved Carousel’s. Ms crystal is the best with the kids and my daughter loves her. Since she’s been attending daycare here she has learned a lot but she learns everything in a fun way that keeps her attention. She even is naming colors in Spanish. 3 years old and knows all her letters and colors in both English and Spanish! The staff are always nice and welcoming. All around a good daycare with great people. Updated 2020: We’ve since moved from the area and my daughter is in kindergarten now. She remembers Carousel and always asks to go visit. She has such good memories thanks to the staff here and we miss them so much!! They played a big part in my daughters upbringing and I give them all the credit they deserve! She is doing amazing in kindergarten and it’s all due to Ms Crystal and the other staff teaching these kids and caring about them with all their heart! I just wanted to give an update because we miss Carousel so much and there will never be another daycare like here!! If I’m ever crazy enough to have another child, and the staff is still just as amazing as they were years ago, I would travel from Woodbridge to Manassas just to bring my kiddo here :(

My daughter entered Carousel Child Development Center after a horrific experience in a local county's public school. She was not developmentally ready for Kindergarten (being a summer birthday) and instead of recognizing it and offering support the public school humiliated and reprimanded her. This public school broke her spirit. I AM SO THANKFUL for Carousel and its staff for bringing my lively, little girl back from the depths of near depression. They capitalized on her strengths, fostered her weaknesses, celebrated her passions, and motivated her to do her best. They put the love of learning back into a child that believed she was "stupid". The staff is patient, caring, communicative, but most importantly..understanding. I wish they had a school that would continue to teach the same methods and strategies for her, but I can only hope to find one that will love her as they did. THANK YOU!!

My 4 year daughter started going to this facility 6 months back and I can’t believe the progress I see in her.The interactive work cycle, play ,art and reading has been a huge help for my daughter’s development. The most important thing is how wonderful the teachers and staff are.

A wonderful Academy! The teachers are amazing and my son loves going! My husband and I are truly happy with the excellent care and education my son receives at CCA!

My children love carousel child and every single time I pick them up they have the biggest smiles on their faces. I am so happy knowing my children are happy and well tooken care of, also they have a wonderful summer camp program :) I couldn't have chose a better learning center
