My family and I decided to make a move because we needed a fresh start and a home that better fit our family’s needs. I was looking for a realtor who was honest, patient, and someone who would truly guide and support us through the process. I chose Venus Weaver because from the very beginning she was genuine, understanding, and easy to connect with. Her approach felt very sisterly, and I always felt like she truly had my back. AMAZING experience with Joan Seal and the Carolyn Young Team! We tried twice with other agents to sell our high-end home, and each time it sat on the market with little activity. But the first weekend after listing with Joan, we had a showing, and within one week we received a very strong offer. Today we closed! Joan was a consummate professional—always keeping us updated, negotiating strongly on our behalf. We had a great experience with Carolyn and her team. The photography was amazing and the house sold the first weekend after an open house, with 3 offers. Not having sold a home in a quarter of a century (literally!), we needed help through the process, to including addressing the home inspection results and finding a good mover. And, our house sold over asking, even though it was fall. Other realtors we talked to had estimated a sale price of about 100k less. So, we are pretty happy with the result.

Katrayle Higgs was absolutely wonderful to work with. Although we didn’t end up purchasing the home she showed us, she was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly responsive throughout the entire process. We found the property on Zillow, and even though it sold before we had the chance to submit an offer, Katrayle was quick to communicate, helpful with next steps, and genuinely supportive. We’re putting our home search on hold for now, but when we’re ready to jump back in, we will absolutely be working with Katrayle again. We were incredibly lucky that we chose Carolyn Young and her team to help us with selling our home in Frederick County, MD. We had a strict and rushed timeline, right before the holiday season in November 2025. But Carolyn knew exactly what needed to be done to not just make the property attractive for multiple potential buyers but also who to reach out among her vast database of agents that could be a good fit.
