Couple of tankless water heaters and some tanks this week ! A lot of people are having issues with their hot water or the amount of hot water supply they have.
A huge reason is the delta T, which is the difference in temperature of water entering the house and its heated temperature. When the ground is so cold , that waters coming into the water heater colder than I’d say 7/8 of the year , the water heater has to work to make up the difference much more than the warmer months . This can be the straw that breaks the camels back sometimes.. as the heater has to work to get that temperature up
