Independence Day is quickly approaching and with it comes an opportunity to see not 1 but 2 firework displays this holiday weekend. Cape May kicks off the events with its Independence Day Parade on Saturday, July 2nd at 1pm. This popular event takes place on Beach Avenue. Sunday, July 3rd Lower Townships hosts its firework display in North Cape May / Town Bank along Bay Drive. The festivities kick off at 5pm and the firework show begins at 9pm. On the big day itself, Monday, July 4th, is the City of Cape May's firework display at 9pm. This takes place along the beachfront with the fireworks being located across from Perry Street's Beach. We hope that everyone visiting the area or attending all of the holiday events this weekend have a safe, fun-filled, and memorable time!
