Do You Have a Case?
You may have a lot of questions if you have been involved in a motorcycle accident. Carabin Shaw has the answers.
Don't discuss your accident or injuries with anyone, except your doctor and your assigned Property Damage Adjustor. Most importantly, Don't give any written or recorded statements to anyone, especially representatives from the insurance company. Do speak to your assigned Property Damage Adjustor. The insurance company will assign a property damage adjustor to discuss your motorcycle damage, car rental, storage, and towing costs. If they have not already done so, they should be contacting you in the next few days to arrange for the inspection of your motorcycle. When talk to the property damage adjustor, only speak with them regarding your property damage claim. Do Not give a written or recorded statement to anyone, without your interest being protected. If your vehicle has been towed and is being stored, lower the amount of your damages by calling the storage yard to "release" your vehicle to the insurance company. You could also move your vehicle to "fee free" location.
