Capital Towing LLC

My vehicle was towed to the Pharr yard Thursday morning by the police dept after an accident (other driver at fault). I asked the tow truck driver if I could get my other belongings later as I was not able to take all of them at the time and he said yes. I called Friday afternoon to stop by on my way home from work and I was informed that I could only get them M-F 8a-11a which does not work for me as I am not available during those times. They did say that I could pick the vehicle up at any time until 11PM if I payed all the towing and storage fees up front which are the other driver's responsibility. This creates a problem as the insurance adjuster asked me to have all my belongings out by Monday morning as the vehicle could be totaled and it could be towed out of town. The office lady that I spoke with was very rude and clearly did not care if my belongings were lost due to their unwillingness to accommodate my needs. I asked why they were willing to let me in if I pay the fees (which are not my responsibility) but they refuse to let me in just to get my belongings? Apparently those are "just the rules". I do not recommend them. Their "rules" are unreasonable given my circumstances, and their customer service in the office is trash. I originally gave this review last week, but someone replied to it and claimed that I do not have a vehicle there and that the review must be a mistake. I deleted that review, and I'm attaching the business card that the tow truck driver gave me. This review is not by mistake. Update: Nice try Capital Towing. You can't invalidate all of your bad reviews by suggesting the client is mad because their vehicle was impounded. I (The one who was T-boned while driving through a green light) Requested that my vehicle will be towed because of potential frame, steering component, and differential damage. Had I been informed at the time of your ridiculous hoops that need to be jumped through to pick up personal belongings, I would have declined when the officer asked me if I wanted it towed to capital towing. The police chief of the department involved will be attempting to help me get my stuff back before the insurance adjuster tows the vehicle out of town.

Came out at 3am in the morning and got me out. I was already covered in mud and didn’t want the guy to get dirty, but he said don’t worry and took everything into his own hands and got me out after being stuck the entire night. 5 stars. Super reliable and good customer service.

The worst tow company, we have filed a complaint with TDLR - if Capital Towing LLC treated you unprofessionally, you may file a complaint as well!

Need to tow my car from work due to tire damaged by a big pothole. I am so pleased with their service, friendly staff, excellwnt service, first time to contact them but happy to their customer care. I won't hesitate to call them again if there will be a need but hopefully 🙏 not again.

my dodge ram decided to take a nap at Sam's on N 10th capitol driver Richard came to the rescue very professional and respectful did his job and delivered my truck at home.

Can we begin with customer service, it takes the person on the other end to assist a potential new customer even a former one. From the beginning lies where stated, driver was to be 30 to "45" minutes it was 2 HOURS. There was never follow up calls to state driver was on another job or that he'd be taking longer than previously mentioned. Office was fast to take our payment but not fast enough to provide customer service. Upon calling the office Eliza the person on the other line kept talking and never hearing our questions or concerns. She was never hearing out the customer and her tone was absolutely rude always speaking over us and randomly placing call on hold without notice. If we could rate services separately we would rate a half star to your office staff taking the calls and 5 stars to the driver. Driver was polite and understanding to our needs. We understand delays happen but keeping the line of communication open is key to keep business afloat.

The worst towing company, hands down, without a doubt. Waited approximately three hours for my vehicle to be returned to me. One of the two girls I spoke with was extremely rude. Save your money and time!! One day charge is nearly$400 and $41 every day after.... Come on really?!?!?

I certainly recommend. Eric towed my car after the starter burned out in a parking lot. Professional and friendly service. I hope I won't ever need them again, but if I do, I'll call Capital.

Save your time and call someone else. Not only are these guys extremely expensive but the front office is very rude. I questioned payment and Elisa goes right to 'impound' talk. I deal with towing companies all over the country & daily and this company is bottom of the barrel.
