Canine Solutions has been a great resource to me as we collaborated on training my service dog. If you follow their lead and do your homework, these trainers will help you find great success! Also my dog LOVES them. I always feel safe leaving him in their care if I need to go somewhere without him.

So, we found a five week old puppy (presumably dumped) in our storm drain. As it turns out, he is going to be a BIG handsome boy and needed more training than this pushover mama could provide. My biggest obstacle in finding board and train was home based training, not an outdoor kennel and run that is the norm for big dog programs. Rufus likes air conditioning, DogTV channel, butt massages, and ice from the ice machine. Let me tell you, I am damn near impossible to impress, but I had no worries handing my 7 month old, 70 pound baby boy over to Canine Solutions of Dallas. The home environment, their service dog/co-trainer Charlie, the positive reinforcement training, and many other factors, helped me make that first call. Rufus is a very well behaved ladies man (gonna get robbed blind if the burglar is a female) who goes everywhere with us now that we are retired and traveling in our airstream most of the time. A little older, and weighing in at 80 pounds, he is wonderful with commands both on and off leash. He crouches/down position/crawl when smaller dogs are nearby to get down on their level/make friends. He is an absolute hit at every truck stop, restaurant, RV park, and retail establishment. Yesterday at the Flora-Bama, he made friends with a table full of retired Army Rangers. I think he might run for mayor, and we owe it all to Keisha, Valerie, and Charlie.

Canine Solutions Dallas is absolutely incredible. I had taken my dog to several other trainers before I found them and no one was able to train my dog. Until a came across Canine Solutions. Wow I was blown away with what all they accomplished in such a small amount of time. The talent they have with dogs are incredible. The positive reinforcement, patience, knowledge, top notch service , and the love they have for animals is absolutely amazing. Keisha totally out did what I was even thinking possible for my dog Bitzy. This is differently the place to go if you need your dog trained. I can’t praise them enough !!!!! Look no farther , you have found your new dog trainer. You will love them and so will your dog!!!!

Our boy had been trained so well. We adopted a mixed breed who was abandoned in a drain pipe in south Texas. He’s very afraid of people and started out a bit chaotic. After his first two weeks of training, he’s responding to commands very well. During his two weeks away, we received regular updates with videos and photos on how he was doing. He’s on track to be trained as a service dog and I’m excited to see what all he’ll still learn!

I have had an amazing experience with canine solutions Dallas! My dog went to the two-week boarding and I received updates and pictures. Once I brought my dog home any questions or concerns I had Valerie and Keisha were quick to help. They are amazing with the dogs and you can tell they are passionate about what they do.

This is the real deal! My black Labrador Gidget went to stay with the trainers for only 2 weeks and came back amazingly a new dog. This is not a stick several dogs in a kennel and work with your dog a few times a day. Instead these ladies take only one dog at a time for training at their home and every where they go. They gave my life back to me. Keisha, Valerie, Bailey and the other trainers in Rockwall are sooo good to work with and have a wealth of knowledge and techniques to share that make life so much easier. With my multiple disabilities I hardly ever was able to get out of my house and now with Gidget's help I get out almost daily. She is able to provide support with my balance issues and helps tremendously with my PTSD. She is so obedient and is not afraid of any noises, textures to walk on or other people and animals of all kinds. She is very attentive to my physical and emotional needs. If you need a service dog or your dog is just unruly Keisha, Valerie, Bailey and their crew in Rockwall are who can gently get the job done and will work with your needs! They only train with positive reinforcement. Gidget is so excited to see them at each follow up session🙌🤗❣️ Thank you from the my whole heart 💜 to The Service Dog Team Academy in Rockwall!!!!

My wife and I found Keisha and Valerie of the Service Dog Team Academy through google. We were looking for an official training school to have our two French Bull Dogs service trained (we found plenty of websites where for a fee we could get them “certified” but wanted something more official). I called the Academy and spoke to Keisha for almost 45 minutes. She walked me through the process, the fee structure and why we should trust our dogs to Keisha and Valerie. Her passion for what she does was apparent and was sold that it was not a pay to play type scenario. Their method is what some may think as unconventional, but extremely effective. Let me start by saying Valerie and Keisha are all about the animals, their safety and making sure the dog has the temperament and personality to become a service dog. So to their method. They offer board and train as well as owner based training. We opted to have our puppy, coco, do the board and train and our older dog, Bond, only do owner based training, as we thought that would be enough. Coco spent two weeks with Valerie and Keisha at their home, working hard and paying even harder. We received daily updates, pictures and videos of her progress including summary of what coco was working on. At the end of those two weeks, coco returned home just as playful as before, but a bit more focused. Coco then proceeded through the owner based training and will graduate soon. As for Bond, well he is a bit of a different story. We opted not to board and train, but found that his personality is one of guarding and protecting. We had a few incidents in our home with one of our other dogs where they would spontaneously go at each other. This concerned us greatly, and asked Keisha and Valerie if we could send Bond to them for the board and train. The thought was to see if Bond could benefit from additional work of socialization with other dogs. Keep in mind Bond was a little hesitant with Keisha…. I think he knew that his cute eyes would not work on her. Off Bond went for two weeks, my wife and I hoping he would behave and work out some of his behavioral oddities. As with Coco, Keisha and Valerie provided daily updates, picture and videos of his progress. We now understand that Bond has some personality traits and characteristics that are innate and we will need to watch and work with him on. Keisha was up front with us about Bond and whether he could pass the service test requirements given some of his behavioral traits and that she would not pass him just to pass him. They do not compromise on their program and the requirements needed. Their integrity to the system and no-bs approach to their trade is what impressed me about them. The program is not inexpensive, but well worth it. If I could do it all over again, I would have taken their advice to enroll both Bond and Coco in both the board and train program and owner training. We are almost there and can’t wait for Bond and Coco to graduate, receive their service vests and certification cards. I highly recommend Keisha and Valerie and their business Service Dog Team Academy

What a nightmare Valerie the owner of Canine Solutions Dallas put my puppy and my family through. She took my $3700.00 for board and train in her home and then did not perform. Had my dog sleeping in bed with her and her partner Keisha at night. I did not want that so they then had another co-worker sleep with my puppy in their guest room. They had my puppy for a month and he came back with no training. After bringing him home Valerie walked out of my house speechless. All I have are my cancelled checks written to Valerie. She did not want checks to the company and really wanted cash. To this day I have not received an invoice for my money nor the refund she promised . MY PUPPY SUFFERED.

Wow! I can’t say enough good things about Valerie and Keisha!! I have a doodle who is a puppy mill rescue and had horrible anxiety. These guys worked miracles!! I cannot believe the progress she made here. I did the board and train option and it was definitely the best decision I’ve ever made for my dog Rhea. I don’t think another trainer group could have done with for Rhea and I’m forever grateful! I’d recommend these guys millions times over and tell everyone I know! I now get to enjoy everything about my dog now. And it feels amazing! Best training service! Do the board and train option, you will not be disappointed. I got text updates everyday and it was the best experience!

I did the three week board and train program, and the results were amazing. Valerie and Keisha are extremely knowledgeable about dog behaviors. They were very patient and hands on with my pup. I look forward to continuing training with my pup and building off the foundation they established.
