Canine Revolution Dog Training

I cannot speak highly enough of Canine Revolution Dog Training. This isn’t quick, one-size-fits-all dog training. It is thoughtful, personalized, and effective dog training. Our rescue pup Tammy was really struggling with reactivity towards other dogs and strangers. She was wonderful to us, but we weren’t able to have people over at the house and we weren’t able to board her when we needed to travel for work. Not only was this a challenge for us, but Tammy wasn’t able to live her life to the fullest because of stress. After some research we decided to reach out to Canine Revolution. Initially we were apprehensive, would they brand Tammy as just another aggressive pit bull? Would their training methods make her reactivity worse? However, within the first few minutes of our conversation with Chris we knew we had found the place to help us. It was clear that he was passionate about helping Tammy, and dogs like Tammy, overcome their insecurities. The Canine Revolution training method is based on building engagement and trust with the dog. They weren’t going to throw an e-collar on her the first day and stress her into complying with commands. Instead, they would build a relationship with her and make sure she was comfortable every step of the way. On top of this, the transparency at Canine Revolution was incredible. We were able to tour the facility, and we received videos and regular communication while Tammy was with them. When Tammy came back home, we felt prepared to continue the training and it has made a world of difference. Tammy is still the goofy dog we love, but now we have been able to build a stronger relationship and have the structure to help her through situations that may make her feel uneasy. We’ve continued the group classes and personalized training, both of which have been incredibly valuable. And as if to seal the deal, the first time we took her to board back at Canine Revolution, she was excited to be there, further illustrating what excellent care they take of the dogs at their facility. Again, I would highly recommend Canine Revolution Dog Training to any dog owner looking for an effective and lasting training program.

My dog had fear-based reactivity barked aggressively at men and aggressively at dogs. Since he was a puppy ive been doing socialization, obedience, and dog parks and was fine until he hit a fear period and everything was scary to him. The training I did myself and all the research I did helped but it wasn't enough. With Canine Revolution my dog was able to gain a solid foundation of training and learn what he should do instead of reacting and feeding into his anxiety. They do consistent socializing around all kinds of distractions in Charleston and make consistent social media post. Their transparency was a big reason I chose to go with them. You are allowed to see their facility as well so you know where you dog is staying. Jacy was the trainer I had and I am so thankful for her work with my boy. Fantastic communication and I loved the weekly updates! Overall great dog training/boarding experience that I am confident going back to for any questions or aid with my dogs behavior issues!
