Caney Run Estates

We moved to Caney Run back in 2019 when Kim was manager, she was the best manager ever and I hated to see her go. Before we move January of this year we also experienced favoritism, and being picked on for every little thing and all we did was mind our business, paid our rent on time and never bothered anyone. The only reason why we moved in the first place is because it seemed like the manager didn't want us there anymore like we were a problem. Living in a place for almost 6 years is going to have some wear and tear but the manager didn't see it that way. We were blamed for a roach infestation which we hired our on pest control and paid out of our own pocket since it seems like their pest control never helped the problem at all. I admit that the ceiling fan was broken in one of the bedrooms and the screen door was torn but everything was about it not being cleaned to her perfection and wear and tear. I never would have expected for management to blind side us like that and put $3,000+ charges on us..it was the craziest thing that I ever heard of and they really should be ashamed of themselves. I must admit that place was our home for a long time and I wish things could have been different and we could have stayed since it's been a rollercoaster of a ride for us ever since but I guess it was meant to be.

Went there to look at an apartment and was met by a very sweet woman at the front. She showed me around. She showed me the complex and was very sweet. I noted that the maintenance guys were very on top of everything, everything was very well kept. The pool was clean. The unit inside looked amazing and freshly been done. Owners are very nice and they really take good care of the complex. Really enjoyed living there

Amazing and helpful management! I can see they take their time and put so much effort into Caney run to make it work! Keep a clean home and you’ll never have problems with bugs or roaches ! Especially since they spray so often ! Very kid friendly also !

Where do I start! Worst place ever! Management has favoritism. Mainly only does their job when it comes to picking on people. When signing my lease they said “I know you’ll be excited to move in but be sure to check for mold & roaches” I instantly replied with “y’all have a mold problem” her reply was “no” while shaking her head yes. And said the same about the roaches. I’ve lived here for 2 years. The roaches only got worse! The pest control spray might as well have been water because it didn’t do anything. Mold was bad and I had to throw so many items away. You can hear your neighbors next door as if they were inside your home. The train is CONSTANT & VERY LOUD! My unit was dirty and had cat hair all over the carpets along with fleas, which I had to call several times for them to come and shampoo my carpets although it should’ve been done prior to me moving in. Units are connected so if someone is smoking in their apartment you can definitely smell it in your home. Which also nothing can be done about aside from every one receiving a paper to remind us that there is no smoking allowed. Wow what was that going to do. It continued until the people moved out. I’m going back to sage creek apartments where they care about their tenants.

I don’t recommend these apartments to anyone. During extremely cold weather my pipe had busted behind my wall and they put the blame on me. There was also mold in the restroom on the ceiling and it was never showered in so it made no sense on why it kept coming back. They don’t want to own up to anything but that’s what happens when you move to an income based apartment. They’re cheap when it comes to everything. There was always different managers when I lived here. Kim was the best at these apartments.. after she left, everything went downhill. Oh and let’s not forget, when I moved out they wanted to charge me for everything you can think of. The blinds, a damn light bulb I couldn’t believe that.

I Love living and being apart of this friendly complex. The managers are so sweet and the maintenance is always quick to take care of any issues! Big apartment with lots of storage and room. Been living here for almost 3 years!

Where do I start I have lived at Caney run almost 3 years and I love it the apartments are very nice and the environment is quiet besides the train lol but u get use to that. The managers are great and very friendly also very understanding everytime I have had a maintenance issue it has always been fixed promptly and in a timely manner I highly recommend Caney run estates ❤️

My only complaint is the Gym looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in months roaches and clothes on the floor and broken equipment unsanitary at the most other than that I love it it so nice and ppl are friendly management is amazing very kind and understanding!

I've lived here a year now great place to live friendly neighbors and staff has been attentive to all my complaints if any and as far as the train goes in response we knew the train was there before we moved in We choose to live here lol I don't think the train station is going to move the train 😂😆
