Came to Cancos Tile in Merrick for an entire bathroom renovation, worked with Dona, and she was fabulous! Her attention to detail, color, and design is unmatched. The prices were great, the level of service is unparalleled. Can’t wait to use them again for future renovations!

I recently had a fantastic experience with Cancos Tile. A leak in my brand new shower appeared out of nowhere. After reaching out to Cancos, they promptly diagnosed the issue. Within less than a week, they had not only identified the problem but also skillfully corrected it — without me having to rip up the whole shower floor. The professionalism and efficiency of the Cancos team were truly impressive. They worked diligently and ensured everything was done to the highest standards. Thanks to their expertise, my shower is now functioning perfectly, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results. I highly recommend Cancos Tile for their exceptional service and craftsmanship.

I have done three bathrooms and I renovated my kitchen. I bought my tiles, bathroom cabinets and my fixtures from Cancos Tile in Merrick. Dona is amazing! She went out and beyond to help us. We have used Cancos twice...the first time was 23 years ago, and the second today... That's how great the quality is of the items we purchased. Today, we were helped by Dona to give our bathroom a facelift... We got a new vanity, fixtures for both sink and shower, a new Sofia medicine cabinet (with lights!) ,a nice new Quartzite sinktop and new sink... She was incredibly patient, showing us different color schemes and options. Made the entire process pain-free. Cancos is always our first and last stop.

Cancos tile, specifically Dona, saved my bathroom project! I was dealing with probably the worst contractor of all time, and Dona helped to expedite the process through her amazing communication, intelligence, and patience. She went above and beyond her job description to make sure things got done in a timely manner. Highly recommend Cancos and Dona. 15/10.

Dona is AMAZING! She worked with me and my husband for countless hours to help us with our new apartment in Florida. She has an impeccable sense of taste and style and continues to go the extra mile for us. In fact, I still call her for advice for decor outside of what Cancos carries and she graciously helps me. THE BEST!

Do not buy from this store. From top to bottom the experience was terrible. They are way over priced. They do not have half the materials that is on display. The delivery driver hit my fense while delivering a pallet of stone and didn't bother to tell me. The latch was bent and now my whole fence is out of alighnement, causing my gate door to rub against the latch. Donna, one of the sales personnel, was not friendly and gave very poor customer service. I ordered some additional tile, which later on they told me I could not return certain items, because it was special order and then the items I was able to return, she had me bring back to hicksville instead of them taking care of it for me. Mind you the items I returned were just 4 small boxes of border, in a box 12" x 4". I order some additional tile during the job, which they never called me to let me know the tile arrived. Then when I went to pick it up, more then half of the tiles were completely cracked. I would give a zero if it was an option.

Recently came to pick out tile for a renovation. Dona was pushy about our selections, bordering on belligerent. Hardly showed any selections and most of our choices were ‘wrong’ to her. Would not work with us to find what we liked nor to stay within our budget. Made us feel as if our not-huge bathroom was beneath her. I requested a print out of what we chose or to just tell me so I could remember it, and she outright refused. Will not be returning here!

Two excellent experiences here in the past month. Picked out a lovely floor tile (Renassaince rio black polished) and ordered several boxes for my kitchen. Boxes were delivered to the Merrick location on the day they said and they loaded them onto my pickup truck and I was on my way. 2 weeks later I decide to expand the kitchen floor and ordered 7 more boxes of tile. They kindly took my order over the phone saving me a trip there. Again, the boxes were delivered to the Merrick location on the date and time they said it would be, they loaded another pallet onto my truck and away I went. Thank you for making these such easy smooth transactions. I would definitely reccommend the Merrick location.
