CaliPaso Tasting Room

Our experience was absolutely delightful! The staff was remarkably attentive and genuinely friendly, setting a fantastic tone. We loved the live music and found the beautiful atmosphere incredibly uplifting. The refreshing wine we selected perfectly complemented the whole ambiance. Highly recommend!

We sampled a few wine tasting spots in town, and this one is by far the best. They have the best sampling options and varieties from their boutique vineyard. We really liked the vibe. There were a lot of locals in the shop who have memberships, and had a great time getting to know everyone. I’d say hands down this tasting room has the biggest bang for your buck. Thank you all for this experience!

Phenomenal wine tasting experience! Angelica served us our wine tastings with a side of winery expertise; she explained the background of each of our picked wines, the history of the winery, and other fun tips about Paso Robles. My group of 4 was touring and found this was the only wine testing place open after 6PM. While engaging with us in relatable conversations, we enjoyed her serenades from all the songs played in the room. Thank you Angelica! You made our weekend 😁😁

Great place right on the square. We had the nice lady working customize the flight based on our likes and she nailed it. There is lots of space but also feels intimate. The wine was delicious which is the cherry on top.

CaliPaso is one of my favorite places in Paso Robles. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, mildly exciting with sports generally on the large screen TV and a super friendly staff. Their wines are wonderful and reasonably priced. It’s just a nice place to spend time with friends old and new.

We went here off of suggestion from a store we had went to in the downtown area and were not disappointed! We went midday, so were the only ones in there (in off season) and really enjoyed the feel of the space. The gal behind the counter, and I hate that I do not remember her name, was absolutely fantastic. She talked us through each wine we sampled, and even before we made our choices talked us through what we might enjoy based off of what we said we typically liked. And in between that, we got to talk to her a lot about the town and customs and what the area is like in each season and what else we might want to experience. We took a bottle of the Zinfandel home and it was just as good as when we had it in the shop. A gen of a winery, don’t overlook it!

Wonderful experience at their tasting room downtown. I highly recommend the Rosè, it’s full bodied and not too sweet, has a great finish. Emily took care of me and she was very knowledgeable and sooo friendly! Nice to share great wine and and delightful conversation. I came here once before and loved it both times! It’s is also DOG FRIENDLY:) big plus on a hot day to have your pup in the A/C with you. Thanks for a great experience Emily!

A gem in downtown Paso Robles. The wines are excellent and pours generous. Our host was knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. We enjoyed ourselves so much we went back the next night and enjoyed live music with our wine.

We waited 30 minutes to get the menu and another 20 minutes to place our order. While there were only two other tables and not busy at all. One staff didn't put on her mask when serving wine and seemed offended when we put on our mask. The wine is not bad though.
