I picked CA Roof Runners to quote due to the great reviews. My review now that the work is done is because they exceeded my expectation and the great reviews. The whole process went as many other reviewers mentioned very smoothly and with Nick very engaged. Also, his crew...from the roof removers to the roof replacers to the gutter team were really wonderful. Not only good but just nice people. Also Nick's quote was the best value from the 7 ones I got. Finally I was happy to go with Nick as he has started his own company and brought that heart and attention that a small company growing its business will do.

I recently completed a roofing project with this team, including a full roof replacement, installation of a sun tunnel, and new gutters. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the experience from start to finish. One of the things I appreciated most was the transparent pricing. The estimate clearly outlined the scope of work with itemized details, so I understood exactly what I was paying for. Roofing projects often end up costing much more than the original estimate, but in this case, any additional charges were explained in detail and were very reasonable. The project was extremely well organized. They documented each phase of the work with drone photos before and after, which gave me great visibility into the progress and quality. After the project was completed, they also provided a full package with all before and after photos for the entire job. I really appreciated having that complete record of the work. Communication was excellent throughout the process. They responded very quickly on Yelp and by phone whenever I had questions. They originally promised a three day timeline but completed everything in just two days by assigning enough workers to each task and managing the workflow efficiently. The permit process was handled smoothly by their team, and approval was obtained without any stress on my end. We hired California Roof Runners for a new roof on our house in San Jose. From the beginning of the job, our experience was great. Nick was extremely communicative and patient explaining all the available options and how the unique features of our house factored into the job. When we had questions, they were answered fully and honestly. California Roof Runners did our roof and gutters, and they were fantastic from start to finish. I got three bids and all were generally in the same ballpark - but California Roof Runner's was the best value overall and ultimately it was their responsiveness and transparency that won our business. Nick patiently answered my emails asking questions about materials, process and warranties quickly and clearly. I'm a Realtor and work with a lot of contractors; this was genuinely one of the best experiences I've had. They installed Presidential shingles, added ridge vents for better attic airflow, replaced the gutters and downspouts, and added gutter guards. Our roof replacement was a bit trickier because of our solar panels, but they handled the removal and re-install and carefully placed the panels where they wouldn't get damaged in the interim. The crew showed up on time and Nick consistently kept me in the loop as I live in another state. When I came to see the end result and there was one small issue with the gutters and I raised it, Nick came to see it in person and make it right. They were super professional and super easy to work with. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat and I am telling all my friends and colleagues about them!

Nick is the owner of California Roof Runners, which was one of the reasons I went with the company. He did not leave any questions unanswered while he presented to me during the introduction in a very visual manner with shingle samples to see and touch and then via email and text the same day answering my follow-up questions. I felt it was an honor and privilege that he himself took care of our private home. The project itself was executed very smoothly with easy transitions in between the different steps. He used a drone during the intro visit to show me exactly the condition of the roof and gutters, texted me the link to keep right away. So I could also see the condition of the gutters and decided to replace them. The crew was hard-working, knowledgeable and humble, just pleasant to have around. Great team!!
