We had a fantastic experience with California Horizon Tours on the Monterey tour. Our guide, Greg, was knowledgeable, funny, and made the whole trip incredibly enjoyable. He kept us entertained with great stories and jokes along the way, making the beautiful coastal drive even more memorable. The stops were well-paced and thoughtfully chosen, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Thank you California Horizon Tours for making my birthday trip possible! My step father Scott had to travel out of town and my mom doesn't drive outside the city, so Scott hired you to be our private chauffeur and tour guide for the day. We had never taken a private tour so it was a treat. Your van was so much more comfortable than our Toyota, so that was a nice extra! I wanted to go to both the Santa Cruz Boardwalk and eat at the Big Sur River Inn for my birthday dinner and cake. That was a lot of driving! You were able to get us up to Santa Cruz in the morning and even knew the perfect place for pancakes! After a couple hours at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk we headed back toward Monterey and then Big Sur. The stop at the empty beach near Monterey was a great place for our lunch. My mom and brother love to take photos and you were able to get them to all their favorite places, Garapata overlooks, Bixby Bridge. You were even able to figure out how and where she could safely get some good photos of the redwoods when we were close to the River Inn. You timed the trip perfectly and somehow got us up to Carmel before sunset which was perfect! I didn't know you had been tracking my stepfather's flight and it was so convenient and I'm sure he appreciated being picked up at the Monterey airport and taken home with all of us! It was a long and fun day and then night and a great birthday! Highly recommend your tour van and excellent chauffeur services!
