They constructed a fence on the border between my property and my neighbors. All lumber used for construction of this fence was defective. The contractor knowingly used this defective lumber to construct the fence. The contractor's quality of work was very poor. These are specific issues with the lumber: • Most of vertical pickets in this fence have cracks, some have mold on them, and are defective. • Majority of posts are also defective. They have cracks and all of them have not been properly cemented and secured to the ground. • Some of the bottom kickboards have long cracks. These are specific issues with very poor quality of contractor's work: • Many pickets' bottoms are not leveled straight • In one place the entire rail is not straight • There is a piece of wood that is laying free and has not been screwed or nailed anywhere • There a screw that is coming through the wood with its sharp end and can injure someone • There are openings in the fence and we can see through the fence in these openings. This is board on board fence and so there should be no openings. They offered us to replace a few of pickets. Replacing cracked and defective pickets and posts will not solve the problem because the entire fence has to be replaced starting with the bottom kickboards. This is "papa" company which operates out of their house. I included just a few pictures to demonstrate the defective materials they used and their very poor quality of work. All fence is like on these pictures. Stay away from this company if you don't want to waste your money.
