We were in the market to replace our 20-year-old HVAC system and we saw a bunch of signs in the neighborhood for Cactus so we checked them out. We liked that the owner, Marcelino, lives in our neighborhood so we knew we were dealing with a neighborhood business. They were friendly, professional, not pushy with the sale, and gave us several options for HVAC units at different price points to work with our budget. The installation and removal process was smooth and finished in one day—they were pros. They even installed a new smart thermostat. It hasn’t been cold enough for the heat to kick on but the A/C runs so much quieter and more efficient than it used to.

Cactua Cooling & Heating provided excellent service from the home visit and estimate process through the installation and follow up. The pricing was the best of those that provided estimates, it was very fair. Marcelino, the owner, helped select the best HVAC system for my house by answering all my questions and providing model information and suggestions based on his over 20 years of experinece in heating and cooling. I was considering foam insulation and he took the time to explain how that would impact the type of system I would need, with an emphasis on safety and efficiency. It really helped me make the best decision overall regarding an HVAC system and insulation. This is a locally owned family business. He does not subcontract his work and everyone that worked on my project was professional and kind. I highly recommend Marcelino and Cactus Cooling & Heating.

Not the cheapest but price very fair for the quality of the install and the professionalism of the owner and technicians. Owner came out at the beginning and end of the install to ensure that everything was done correctly and to owner’s satisfaction. This is my second unit from this owner in 5 years. He stands behind his work and will be there when you need his service should you require warranty work. Very satisfied.

Marc and his team were the best price around for both units (replaced inside and outside units), were on time, no hidden charges, and super professional! They went the extra mile on the install when the existing drain was not as it should be without an additional charge. The yearly maintenance program they offer is very reasonable and ensures the system is operating at its peak ability. Really appreciate Cactus Heating and Air. I've been having hell with my rental property management company. They sent 3 HVAC guys over to address my ac issue. All of which lied to me and told me my AC had no problem. This was crazy how much gas lighting was happening. I had enough and decided to call in the pros! Marcelino cam over and immediately knew there was a problem and within 2 minutes located the issue. These guys are incredible! Don't mess around with any other company, these guys are fair, honest, efficient, and excellent company. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could!!

Great fast and reliable service. Came out within hours of calling for a 3rd opinion. Pricing was straight forward and a little lower than we had from 2 other companies for the same work without any pressure to make optional upgrades or pressure to buy a new unit. Would definitely use again and recommend to anyone else

I had an exceptional experience with this company - I was able to get same day service in an emergency setting where my heater was not working properly.
