⚡🦾We are proud to share one of our projects with you! We were tasked with removing an old war cannon on display in North Miami Beach. This involved hiring a crane service to carefully remove the cannon and restore it to its original condition.
During the restoration process, we had the entire piece sandblasted to raw metal and discovered that many of the gear components were brass, giving them that golden color.
After endless meetings, we were able to convince that city that the brass should be displayed to make the piece more unique instead of painting the entire thing gray. This required some extra detail in the painting process, but it was all worth it in the end to get a better product for the customer and the community to enjoy. The main challenges were making sure the cannon was safely transported and didn't get damaged. And guess what? The cannon is still in North Miami today!😉
