Exciting Experience: Điện Biên Coffee Processing Workshop in C.O.C Roasters, from Bean to a Complete Cup
C.O.C x Hario Vietnam organized a captivating autumn workshop on coffee bean processing for its staff to learn and grow.
During the "Farm-to-Cup" workshop on processing Điện Biên coffee in C.O.C Roasters, we embarked on the journey from coffee beans to a fully brewed cup, guided by the principle of "only by doing can we truly appreciate." Moreover, we had the opportunity to engage in exchanges, share knowledge about coffee, and forge meaningful connections.
Bac, a barista at C.O.C Legacy who participated in the workshop, utilizing Hario equipment for coffee brewing, shared his reflections after the session:
"I personally joined with the intention of experiencing the coffee processing undertaken by the farmers working on the fields. But to my surprise... my back ached, my neck felt stiff, and my hands became sore from soaking in water... It was only through these challenges that I truly understood how difficult it is to produce high-quality coffee beans, especially specialty ones, which is quite different from what I had imagined."
