We joined our family who were caravanning at the site several days before and ended up booking a Lotus Belle tent for one night. It was absolutely amazing, owners were great especially as we hadn't booked in advance. We felt really relaxed and found everything easily. The lotus was immaculate, there are full mini bathrooms in the bathroom block, no separate toilets and showers and they were pristine. The fishing lakes were beautiful, those in our group who came to fish said it was great and for those who didn't, sitting and watching the view was just as dreamy! There's also a massive focus on ensuring the fish are treated humanely which was very reassuring. The site is child and dog friendly, they were very accommodating with our dogs as between all of us we had 7 and allowed us to space the dogs evenly per caravan / lotus with no hassle. The whole family loved the trip and cant wait to come back!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Great little spot nice a quiet plenty to see some lovely walks down to the beach. The facilities were spotlessly clean ! They have a dog play area where I could let the dog off and have a run around which was fantastic. Even had sausages in the shop from Thor own pigs the honey sausage were lovely. Very welcoming would highly recommend staying here even if your not fishing !

Not great. More cons than pros. Check in smooth. Everything explained as usual like where the bins are etc... As tenters with all the gear we was quite shocked to be told we can't drive on the grass and we would have to lug all our gear 25m across a field to set up and we was closest to the car park. Midway through setting up we got asked to move the car just to make the walk a little longer. It wasn't blocking anything was just in the way for 20 mins or so. After we set up we lit our fire with the equipment provided (nice fire pit/bbq combo) and logs they provided to be checked on to see what fuel we was burning as it was too smokey. Nice and quiet campsite but more rules than most. It's all about controlled fun. There was a 5 year event going on at the time and after politely asking if we need to pay as we are using the campsite got met with a barrage of explanations about how it cost them to set it up and electric etc... we didn't mind paying just asked the question. Second day and thought to do a spot of fishing. We are not professional anglers just enjoy the sport. The owner came round looking for problems, first have you paid, then what hooks you using, by the end of it one member of our party was deemed to be using the wrong rod as it could damage the fish and the other was deemed to be using the wrong strength line as it was too strong. 🤯 Whilst the toilet blocks are immaculate and kept that way there is only 1 block for the campsite. The rubbish area is at one end of the campsite and the toilet block at the other end, depending on what field you sleep in you have a lengthy walk to one or the other. Felt watched and supervised the whole time. Would not reccomend and won't be back.

We pick a camping pod for our night away and it was lovely right next to the fishing lakes which were very well kept. The pod had all the basics needed place the bed was nice too. The lady on arrival was very lovely. The toilets and shower blocks had everything you needed and so clean. Had a little shop and a game room which was free. I would highly recommend too anyone wanting a break or for going fishing

Site is very good , level pitch and facilities clean. Dog exercise area is brilliant, our dogs loved it. Fishing also very good. The thing that lets it down is the hoards of feral kids running riot and their parents either not able to control them or just not bothering to try. Cheap sites attracts those types. Glad to be going home for some peace and quiet!

A really nice little campsite. We really liked this place. Not loads of pitches so it never felt crowded. There are lovely fishing lakes, but we don't fish so we just had a look. A good little shop on site and even a great games room with table football and air hockey. The thing that made a big difference for us was a field put aside for dogs to play and run off the lead.

What a beauty and tranquil spot. Good spot for fishing - 3 lakes Great spot for hiking base. Dog friendly - dogs have their own enclosure to play freely We stayed in one of their pods Pod was clean and had everything that we needed. Bbq spot outside pods Toilets on camp site are clean all the time - cleaned few times per day. Dog shower outside. Playroom for kids with board games , air hokey etc

Stayed in a pod beside fishing lakes. It was very tranquil and beautiful with some good sized fish 🐟 in the lakes.
