Unethical and incompetent. I purchased a home in early 2025, and the inspection report provided in the seller disclosures was prepared by Buena Vista. I relied heavily on this report when deciding to move forward with an extremely expensive purchase. The most serious omission was a significant foundation issue. One room has a floor sagging nearly a full inch, with an additional half-inch sag in the room above it. This condition is completely absent from Buena Vista’s report. The roof is another major concern. It is likely 25–30 years old and now requires full replacement. The inspection report, however, described the condition as merely “a few worn shingles,” which was highly misleading. The home is clad in T1-11 siding, much of which is rotted. Based on subsequent evaluations, approximately 30% of the siding will eventually need to be replaced. The report makes only a brief mention of a small area of rot, nowhere near reflecting the true extent of the damage. Finally, the luxury vinyl flooring throughout the house was improperly installed and is now curling at the edges with large gaps between planks. This issue was not mentioned at all, despite being readily visible. The flooring will likely need to be replaced within the next year or two. If you are a seller looking for an inspection company that unethically minimizes or glosses over serious defects, Buena Vista is your best bet. If you are a buyer and are presented with a Buena Vista inspection report, I strongly recommend treating it with skepticism and doing your own independent inspection. Based on my experience, I would not trust this company to provide an accurate or objective assessment of a property.

The inspector and the process for inspecting the home was perfectly fine. I’m sure they do as good a job as any other pest inspector. It was not my choice to use them, it was my agent’s choice. I was a commercial real estate broker early in my career and I had a broker’s license for 10 years. After the report was complete, I never received a bill. Center I figured eventually one would come in the mail? I was shocked to get several emails from them threatening to send my account to collections. I paid the bill quickly, with a bad taste in my mouth. For the next week, I continue to get messages threatening to send my account to collections. I called the office several times and left messages with no response. I finally reached out to a cell phone number on their messaging service and this person responded to me and told me he was at a funeral and that I could wait until next week to hear from them - which happened to be after the date by which my account was to be referred to a collection agency. Needless to say it did not sit well with me As I type this, I’m still unsure if I was sent to a collection agency after paying my bill in full after the first notice that I got. I would encourage whoever sees this from the company to consider making a phone call before you send first time customers to collect collections. It’s a very bizarre way to run a business. At a minimum no one returns phone calls… But perhaps they’re just negligent and nobody’s actually in the office on a daily basis? I don’t know. But I would steer clear of this company if you value any type of customer service or human involvement in follow up

If you are shopping for pest control service, do yourself a favor and avoid the corporate giants and go with a small company, you won't regret it!.

While riding my bike to work i noticed my wallet fell out of my pocket. I was 3 miles away from home and turned around to see if I could find it. When I got to my house Jason who works here found my wallet and returned it to me. What an honest a good person. Thank You

i'm not impressed with their office organization. i had to call or email them a few times to find out what was going on and if there was an invoice to pay and there was no verification of their correction work. I wasn't close enough to go out and inspect.

You won’t find a better pest control company in The North Bay period. It’s amazing to find people who understand what ethical businesses and abide by it.

They charge you $850.00 dollars to fix dry rot on 2 pieces 10' x 6" x 2" eve boards and then only cut 2 10" pieces and glue patches in. Total crooks
