Our aim is to complete our work in the cleanest possible way. We will remove all soot and debris from your home in a safe manner and clean you fire or stove as well as the chimney.
The duration of a sweep is normally under an hour. A thorough inspection is included and any faults will be discussed with you during the appointment. We can also advise on what repairs are required to ensure your chimney is safe.
Getting your chimney swept at least once a year is essential. This reduces the risk of chimney fires and carbon monoxide poisoning. A clean chimney is a safe chimney.
To ensure your chimney draws properly and is completely free of soot and debris, we’ll pass brushes the through the chimney a minimum of four times.

Paul came to sweep my log burner today and check damage to the register plate from a recent chimney renovation. Paul has advised me that the plate needs replacing, recommended a couple of local installers, didn't carry out the sweep as it would add soot to the debris on the plate and possibly escape into the room and also didn't charge even though he put in the time and effort to advise the safest way forwards. Very kind, highly recommend. Thank you Paul.
