This is a hair-stroke brow correction (takeover) from previous work done by another artist.
In this case, the old pigment was still quite dark but uneven. When performing a takeover, the goal is not to erase or fight the existing strokes, but to work with them carefully.
Because the previous color was already present, I needed to choose a slightly deeper tone to create balance and consistency. Going lighter would not blend properly and could cause patchiness as the brows heal.
It was also essential to follow the original hair-stroke direction. Creating strokes in a different angle or pattern would result in crossed or chaotic lines once healed, making the brows look messy rather than natural.
This technique requires precision, patience, and a clear understanding of how old pigment behaves over time. The result may appear stronger at first, but it is designed to heal evenly, naturally, and cleanly, respecting the existing structure of the brow.
