Annual Brow Touch-Up – Why It Matters
This client returned for a brow touch-up after one year, which is completely normal for permanent makeup.
Over time, the skin naturally renews itself, and pigment gradually softens. After about 12–18 months, brows may look lighter, less defined, or slightly uneven in certain areas. This does not mean the brows are “gone” or done incorrectly — it’s simply part of how the skin and pigment age together.
An annual brow touch-up is a light maintenance session designed to refresh color, refine shape, and keep the brows looking balanced and natural. It is not about making brows darker or changing their original design. The goal is to preserve softness, clarity, and harmony with the face.
Skin type, skincare routines, sun exposure, and lifestyle all affect how long pigment lasts, which is why touch-up timing can vary from person to person.
Regular maintenance helps brows stay clean, natural-looking, and well-kept year after year.
