Why lip color may look uneven after the first session
After the first lip tattoo session, the healed color may appear slightly uneven.
This does not mean anything was done incorrectly.
Everyone’s lips absorb pigment differently. Some areas retain color better, while others regenerate faster and may appear lighter after healing. Because lip tattooing is done in soft, thin layers, the first session helps show how the skin responds and how much pigment is retained.
Based on healing results, a touch-up (if needed) is simply a way to refine and balance the color, not a requirement for everyone. Many clients are happy with their results without any additional work.
Lip tattooing is a personalized process designed to keep results natural, balanced, and appropriate for each individual over time.
