Many clients ask what brows and lips look like after 1–2 years, so here is a real example.
This client had her brows done almost two years ago. Because she did not want them darker, she chose not to come back early for a touch-up and waited close to two years instead.
For her lips, she had lip neutralization with me one year ago. When she returned for her visit, she shared that she was still very happy with the results and did not feel the need for a touch-up at this time.
Everyone’s skin retains pigment differently. Some clients hold color very well, while others experience faster fading. This is why many clients ask whether a touch-up is required.
My approach is always based on comfort and personal preference. I never pressure clients to schedule touch-ups.
From a professional standpoint, after the initial session, if brows appear to have faded around 50%, a single touch-up can help achieve fuller color, a smoother base, and more even results. After that, the pigment typically fades more evenly and naturally over time.
Most importantly, if you are happy with how your brows or lips look, there is no urgency. Touch-ups are always optional and done only when you feel ready.
