Unfortunately, my experience with Mr. Brown was disappointing. He did not listen, and from the beginning, communication felt strained and uncomfortable. One attorney actually warned me about the difficulty I might experience with him—I regret not listening. Another referral simply came from a phone book, which, in hindsight, was not the best way to choose legal counsel for something as personal as estate planning. Im not going to slam him as much as I could. He seems proud and smug about his belief most attorneys are arrogant jerks. Ive hired 2 attorneys in the past for other needs and neither were arrogant jerks. He leaves alot to be desired . If you are seeking help with writing a will, I strongly recommend going to a dedicated estate planner or someone with a calmer, more balanced disposition. Mr. Brown’s inability to shift from courtroom-style aggression to a respectful office consultation showed a lack of awareness and emotional intelligence. His communication relied heavily on clichés and rigid, black-and-white thinking, without the ability to consider nuance or the human side of complex situations. In my opinion, he could greatly benefit from more real-world perspective, mentorship, and a more client-centered approach. Legal matters require not only knowledge of the law, but also patience, empathy, and the ability to truly listen. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

Clint Barbour was extremely knowledgeable and straightforward throughout my case. He made sure I was fully prepared for every possible outcome, including the worst-case scenario, while still giving me confidence and hope. Do not risk hiring for criminal defense he takes the prosecutors and judge side and will not do anything to help you other then take your money 5k to accept their plea. Communication was poor I called several times to ask questions wouldn’t be available and when he was it was “ don’t worry “ but when it was time to go to court he had the same plea deal that the prosecutor gave no changes just printed out and just wanted to manipulate me to signing and agreeing as if it was him helping. If that was the case then why hire and pay 5k that 5k could have more then handled the job alone. Just don’t hire this guy for criminal defense. He dropped me soon as it was over and I’m seeking the BAR for help
