How many of us heard this line as children? Or used the same line on our own children?
This tenet is obviously true. But it holds true after you pass on as well. Just because you want someone in your family to inherit something after your death does not mean that will occur. The laws of intestacy (laws in the absence of a will) may not necessarily direct property the way you want it to after your death.
