🐾 Rescue Mission: Curiosity & Mischief in the Walls
The kits are officially on the move! 🦝 As these baby raccoons start exploring, their newfound curiosity is leading them to all sorts of mischief. This little explorer found himself in a tight spot after tumbling down a wall cavity he couldn’t climb out of.
The Mission
To get this little guy out, we started with our thermal imaging camera to track his heat signature, followed by a drill hole and endoscope to pinpoint his exact location behind the built-in shelving unit. Once we confirmed his spot, we made the access cut to pull him out completely safe and unharmed. After a quick rest in the carrier, we headed up to reunite the little adventurer with his brothers and sisters in the attic.
What’s Next?
Since the babies are only semi-mobile and attic access was limited, we’ll be returning in 2–3 weeks. By then, they will be traveling with mom routinely and can use our baby exits to ensure no one gets left behind.
We know the scratching and thumping can be a lot to handle, but sticking it out for these next few weeks is the only way to ensure the family stays together and the job is finished properly. Doing it right means a permanent, humane solution for both the homeowners and the wildlife! 🏠❤️
