We called Jake at Brothers Wildlife Removal last Saturday about an intrusive band of rogue squirrels that took up residence in the attic of our home, and Jake came the very next day even though the weather forecast sounded less than favourable. He installed a one-way exclusion door where we showed him our unwanted guests in fur coats were gaining access to our attic. He also did a thorough inspection identifying other potential entry points, and installed steel mesh squirrel proofing in those areas. Jake promptly went straight to work and finished the installation before the weather turned inclement and made the job too dangerous to do. Additionally, while he was here, he took the time to give us a lesson in “Squirrel Behaviour 101.” While he was busy at work, three squirrels emerged from our attic, however, Jake warned us that there may still be additional squirrels and that and it may take a few days for them to learn how to use the one way exclusion door and vacate the attic. Sure enough, today, another furry interloper was evicted. We are now checking the attic and listening for any further “squirrel sounds”to make sure that all the squirrels have gone so that we can have the roof vent that they were using to gain entry replaced. We found Jake to be very knowledgeable, professional, reliable, personable, and accommodating, and his price to be very reasonable. We highly recommend that you give Jake a call if you have critters that need to be evicted from your home or from any outbuildings on your property.
