🦝 Baby Raccoon Season is Officially Here!
The spring rush has started! Today, we were in old Ancaster ON helping a homeowner who heard scratching and chirping in their attic.
As you can see in the video, we successfully and humanely removed these little ones. During baby season, a standard "one-way door" isn't enough—if the mother is locked out, she will cause significant damage trying to get back to her kits.
Our Humane Process:
• Physical Removal: We carefully remove the babies by hand.
• Reunion Shelters: We place the babies in a heated weather-protected box so the mother can safely relocate them to a backup den nearby.
• Full Exclusion: We secure the entry points with heavy-gauge screening to ensure no more "uninvited guests" move in.
