Our team used a multi-step humane approach:
• One-Way Door Installation: We installed a specialized one-way door at the main entry point, allowing the mother raccoon to exit the attic freely while preventing her from getting back inside.
• Safe Baby Removal: The babies were carefully removed by hand and placed in a heated reunion box nearby. This allows the mother to safely relocate her young to one of her alternate den sites overnight.
• Professional Reinforcement: Simply removing the animals isn't enough. We reinforced the roof’s vulnerable areas—including vents and soffit gaps—using 16-gauge galvanized steel mesh to prevent future intrusions.
