🏠Attic Evicted! Humane Raccoon Removal
Attics are the #1 target for raccoons looking for a cozy spot, but they can cause a lot of damage in a short amount of time. We just finished up a full exclusion project to get these "masked tenants" out for good!
Here is the game plan we put into action:
• The One-Way Exit: We installed a specialized one-way door at the main entry point. This allows the raccoons to leave for food or water but prevents them from getting back inside.
• Reinforced Defense: We didn't just stop at the hole. We installed heavy-duty prevention screening over all roof vents and soffit returns to make sure they don't just find a new way in.
• The Waiting Game: We leave the one-way door in place for 14–21 days. This ensures every animal has exited and gives them time to move on to a secondary den.
• The Final Touch: We’ll be heading back in three weeks to remove the door and perform the final permanent repairs to the entry point.
Prevention is key! Most animals get in through weak vents or gaps in the soffit. Reinforcing these spots now saves you a massive headache later.
