Trailer light warning has been coming on for 3 years on 2015 Chevrolet Surburban. Could not figure it out. At first dealership quoted 3200.00 to replace complete trailer light system including connections and wiring at hitch area. Couldn’t do that. Tried Brothers and they said it was just the switch. Tried dealership again and they said switch was faulty and it would be 780.00. Had Brothers look for the part to see if they could do it. They researched it and found the part on line for 32.00 but that was a aftermarket priced part. The dealership had the factory part for 92.00. They told me to go buy it from the dealership and they would install. They were done in 10 minutes and they charged me ZERO to install. I tipped 50.00 just because they deserved something since they found the issue first.
However biggest repair was 4 weeks later. Was on the way to the import at 5am and car just stopped cold. No power. Needed an alternator and a battery. Had to leave car on the side of the road and got Uber to the airport. Called AAA (who also did a great job- Adams Towing) and had car towed to Brothers. By 8:15 am they had me a quote and car was completed by 4pm. And they sent a driver to pick up my wife to bring the car home. They installed a factory alternator and a new battery for 980.00. just for fun I checked with the dealership and they estimated around 2500.00 without seeing the truck.
