James repaired and refurbished over 40 doors and windows at our Grade II Georgian house in Bath and did an incredible job. Highly recommended!

James did an incredible job for us replacing old uPVC windows with beautiful new sash. The house has been transformed! We couldn’t be happier with both the quality of the windows and the quality of James’ work. James is incredibly knowledgable and made communication very easy, and he was a joy to have in our home whilst the work was being carried out. James and Ashley did a great job at refurbishing, draught-proofing and painting windows for me. Having had a number of quotes I felt I trusted James the most and thankfully his was accurate in terms of what did/didn’t need replacing. Everything was left clean and tidy at the end of each day and I’ve been really pleased with the end result. Both very nice people too. Would definitely recommend them!

James came to insulate 3 wooden sash windows at the front of my property. Apart from a bit of draft and some ‘traditional sash windows quirks’ they were in good condition, so I wasn’t expecting a huge change. But after James’s visit they worked like brand new windows - fully insulated, rebalanced, no wobbles and they have really reduced exterior noise. Really happy with the work done, and James is a top guy too.

Great Professional Service! We were looking at replacing our tired wooden sashes that had served the house for over a century. We received quotes from multiple suppliers and were about to go with UPVC. We had previously looked into wooden double glazed as an option but the prices seemed high, then got a quote from James for double glazed wooden sashes that was comparable with the other suppliers but allowing us to retain the period characteristics of our home. Our home is now warmer and quieter thanks to the careful and efficient work completed.

James and his brother-in-law fully refurbished and repainted my sash windows and French door in St James’s Square, Bath. James replaced our old Victorian sash bay windows with perfect easy to open (and lock) double-glazed windows. He also replaced a casement window in the kitchen building new wooden frames, in our house in Bath. Great value, excellent workmanship, solid material selection. James conducted both restorations and draftproofing at our property. The work standard was stellar, I was very impressed. James was also very respectable and adherent to the daily changing government policies during the uncertain time of Covid-19. Would highly recommend and use again!
