Brisbane Pet Farewell

Dr. Sarah helped farewell my 18-year-old boy cat, and a 2 years later his 17-year-old sister. She is so calm and caring — she made both experiences as peaceful and respectful as they possibly could be. I feel truly blessed to have had her guide us through such difficult moments. I can’t thank her enough. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Thank you to Dr Sarah for her services and being absolutely wonderful. Our first time doing an in home euthanasia service and I’m so glad I went with Brisbane Pet Farewell. As heartbreaking the experience to put our beloved dog down, Dr Sarah has a soft and gentle approach, giving us time to say goodbye and notified us of each step and what to expect, which was super helpful and gave us the reassurance we needed.

My family had to say goodbye to two of our babies yesterday. So grateful to Sarah for coming out to us so they can be at peace in our home. Sarah was amazing, from fitting us in, talking us through the process, the comfort and condolences. Could not recommend her more. Thank you for your support.

Our 12 year old cat was on palliative care with lymphoma, and once we knew he was no longer comfortable, we had to make the tough decision to say goodbye. My heart is beyond broken, but I am truly grateful that Dr Sarah was there with us for the end. She took the time to explain every step, and was kind, gentle, empathetic and reassuring. Even sitting on our bedroom floor with me, where our boy was most comfortable. I know he had the most peaceful passing possible. I would highly recommend Dr Sarah to anybody else in this awful situation.

We feel so blessed to have found Dr. Sarah to assist us with such a heartbreaking experience. Right from the first phone call, we knew we had chosen the right person to help us say our final goodbye to our beloved dog. Sarah handled the whole process with such patience, kindness and compassion and we know that our girl had the most peaceful transition she could have had.

I don’t usually provide google reviews but after my experience with Dr Sarah I really feel I need to. Last Wednesday I found out my sweet little cat, Juliet, had kidney failure and her health deteriorated rapidly from there. I had wanted to arrange for an at home end of life procedure for Juliet so her last moments weren’t stressful or scared (she hated the cat carrier, the car and also the vet clinic). Dr Sarah provided an exceptionally speedy response when I reached out on Saturday to perform the procedure on Monday. Unfortunately Juliet’s health deteriorated so rapidly it became apparent on Saturday evening that the procedure would need to be performed on Sunday morning. Dr Sarah provided such a quick response and rescheduled the procedure day at such short notice and was so kind about it. She was so lovely and kind to Juliet (and also myself) during the procedure and also so patient and compassionate. Juliet’s transition was as peaceful as it could have been and I could not thank Dr Sarah enough. My heart is broken but I am grateful Dr Sarah was available when it was time for Juliet to pass. Will forever be grateful to her.

I first met Dr Sarah in december of 2024 for our boy Leo, Leo's time was cut short by cancer and I had no idea who to call for this and Dr Sarah was the first cotact I landed on. Leo was a little shy of new people at first especially being sick but when Dr Sarah came into the room he was immidiately warm to her.. Thats when I knew I made the perfect decission. Fast forward to yesterday and Dr Sarah has returned for Leo's wife Maggie suffering the same illness, again Dr Sarah was the most kind loving person, spending time and giving pats to our maggie as we got ready. Dr Sarah didn't rush these events and spent time with Leo and Maggie to make sure they were comfortable with her and that alone was one of the kindest gestures I have seen from someone in such a long time. Thank you Dr Sarah, you did for us what we could not do, you helped us make the most loveable action for our babies that we can in their life. It has been an honour having you come to us twice for this and I know Leo and Maggie love you even in the shortest time they got to sit with you before crossing over. Me and my mum had to sadly euthanise our pet cat, but Sarah was amazing, lovely and compassionate. She made the whole process as least stressful as possible; was super soft spoken and gentle with our boy. We appreciated all of the reassurance and support from her! Thank you so much, we couldn’t recommend this service enough.

I had to make the decision to say goodbye to my cat yesterday due to cancer, I was conflicted and distraught about this decision but I had no other choice. I couldn’t imagine having anyone else by my side during this difficult time, Sarah was amazing and supported and comforted my daughter and I through one of the most hurtful moments in our lives. Words cannot describe the service we were provided! What a beautiful human being you are!! You gave me strength and treated my beloved pet and us with the utmost respect, kindness, gentleness and care. I will always remember how you were there for us and comforted me and looked after my boy so amazingly. If anyone needs this service Sarah is the vet to go to! She will take care you like no other. She actually cares, she is considerate and simply lovely! Dr Sarah was amazing. She talked to us over the phone and explained everything. She was very professional and caring in our hour of need. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Sarah.
