If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Avoid this condescending insurance agent and his office full of unfriendly staff.
I was in the market to purchase a new vehicle and called this office as I was already insured with them. I spoke with Alexa J. to ensure the rate prior to buying. I was sent a quote that showed my premium would be increasing from $979.33 to $1,019.42 for 6 months, thus changing my premium from $163.22 to $169.90 a month. I approved and proceeded with buying the new car and switching over the coverage. A few weeks later, I receive the next monthly bill for $200.16 when I was told it would be $169.90.
I called last Thursday and spoke with a woman who said “changes happen, it’s ONLY an additional $36/month until the end of the year. Once January comes, you don’t have to renew with us.” She said she would inform Alexa that I called because she was the agent assigned to my policy. A week later and I still haven’t received a call back.
I called today, a week later, and spoke with Brice himself. He says that he doesn’t know how the quote was generated because there’s no VIN number on the quote. If you don’t know how that document was created, how would I know either? You’ve been in business for 30+ years, how do you expect me to know that the document your agent sent to me was incorrect? He has not taken any accountability for the actions of his agents and said “anyone who buys a new car has to know that their rate would increase. That’s obvious”. The rate DID increase, but I was sent documentation showing that the increase would not be an additional $36 more per month.
Brice is extremely condescending, unprofessional and lacks accountability. As soon as I got off the phone with him after going back and forth for hours, I changed to a different insurance company. The cost of things are too expensive to be patronizing businesses with bad customer service. To think I received an attitude, raised tone and gaslighting when all the information is in writing.
Avoid this place at all costs unless you want to deal with a headache and receive attitude every time you call in for assistance.
