Bratwurst Bros Butchery Cafe & Uruti Rest Stop

Mixed feelings. My wife and I came for breakfast. We had a Lebekase with egg and onions on a bun and the breakfast sandwich. The prominent flavour in both sandwiches was salt. My wife removed the meat from her sandwich which made it better but the bacon was impossible to remove. The coffee was good and the place was a cute little place to stop.

Lucky we stopped over . Their menu - taste - presentation - portions are amazing . Lovely tasty fully real loaded fries ! All types of sauces which adds exceptional flavour for dinning . There are restrooms , ample parking and eat out space . Friendly and welcoming staffs.

Had a lovely coffee here, perfect 👌 lots of man food, get full for your money. They also have cold drink options. I will definitely be stopping here more often. Also dog friendly 🥰

Best road side stop so far on my trip in the north island. $6 for a good size hot dog, and nice homemade German mustard. Takes me back to my youth! A nice surprise on the drive down to New Plymouth. Cheers!

Absolutely unexpected. We stopped for rest but food was soo good. Made my day happy for rest of the day even after long drive. Highly recommend any on the way to Mt taranaki.

What an unexpected treat on our way to the bach! Fresh and delicious bratwurst. They offer meat and sausage packs to take home. Highly recommended.

The worst bratwurst we have ever eaten abroad. And the currywurst had nothing to do with the famous German currywurst. The sauce was sour and tasteless. Anyone who has ever eaten a currywurst on holiday in Germany should remember it fondly. It's a shame, as the butcher should have higher standards.

Very, very SALTY food never go back to this place.
