I can’t recommend Mr Alan highly enough! I came in with a black tie evening gown that needed urgent alterations, and he managed to completely transform it in under five hours. The fit is now absolutely perfect — it feels like the dress was custom made for me. You can tell he has a deep respect for the human form, the material, and his craft. His services are on the pricier side, but the quality, expertise, and speed he delivers make it completely worth it. If you’re looking for someone who combines artistry with impeccable workmanship, this is the person to trust.

Avoid this company at all costs. They charge over double the going rate and do an appalling job. My husband's jacket is ruined (£65 for this awful service)! In addition there is financial fraud going on with the receipting system. They did not put the full transaction price on the receipt making it hard to prove what you have paid in the event of a complaint. When we complained we were told it could be rectified for a further £65! We will be reporting this company to trading standards, not just for the quality of workmanship (see images) but also for their questionable accounting practices. The shop owners would not hear of any sort of refund or compensation. Do not trust this company with your clothes or with your money. Please see my other reviews, I am usually very generous with praise if I think that an organisation warrants it. I do not make vexatious comments - which is more than can be said for the incredibly rude response from the shop owner. Please see the dreadful workmanship - a picture speaks a thousand words and uploads of stock images of tailoring will do nothing to mask the incompetence of this organisation.

Had zip in boots repaired which was all good. So decided to take a handbag to be repaired. Very poor repair and not worth the money paid. Was told the leather would be different, however the execution and finishing of the repair is awful.

I can’t recommend Mr Alan at Bonjour Tailoring enough. He’s a kind gentleman who truly cares about his work—and it shows. Every alteration he’s done for me has been absolutely perfect. It’s rare to find someone with such skill, attention to detail, and genuine warmth. A real gem!

Mr. Alan is the most incredible tailor. I am extremely fussy as I come from a background in design and he has done a couture level job on my wedding dress. No mean feet considering he has been altering lace from the 1900's. I also added a gathered sleeve that he cut the pattern for. The whole dress has been completely reworked to fit me, I am beyond happy with it. He has a great eye and is really helpful with decision making - I cannot recommend him enough for tailoring. I would give 6 stars if I could!

Mr Alan is the best tailor around !! He made my wedding dress absolutely perfect. Altering a dress that was originally too big for me. I could not have been happier considering it was working with very delicate fabrics. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He also tailored my mums dress and my husbands suit perfectly!

I have been using Bonjour for many years and have always been impressed with their services. My shirts are always ironed well and returned crisp and fresh on a hanger and my tailoring is always well-pressed. There is never any lingering smell of stale cleaning solution. They also offer a comprehensive range of tailoring and I use them for trouser hemming, alterations as well as repairs. Work is always completed to a high standard comparable to a traditional London tailor.

Alan is a master of tailoring. I took in a 60s dress to be converted into a skirt. What a job! Get so many compliments for it. Alan likes detail and doesn't cut corners (excuse the pun). Very professional and highly recommended. Hes the BEST!

Amazing service! Had 3 alterations on some trousers and jeans and they've never fit better. A large hole in one of the jeans is now almost unnoticeable. Great price for the work and for how quickly they were repaired.
