Came for Dine Out Festival, and would return! Standout dish for me was the tandoori chicken; it was so juicy and flavourful. I'm definitely tempted to come back for happy hour to try the tandoori wings offer if they taste similar. The naan was excellent also. The lamb in the lamb curry was a little tougher than I'd have liked, but the flavour of the sauce was good. Nice that they have Steamworks beer on tap, for a reasonable price as well. Shame we only got one ball of gulab jamun, but that might've been because it was part of the Dine Out set menu? Attentive service as well. Worth checking out!

Andy the head chef brings legendary food to the table sans all the flashiness… A humble star he bring delicious flavors and full richness that comes with dining Indian cusine. This place has been forever our goto in Vancouver downtown be it a thali, indo-chinese or punjabi north indian style, we’re always left wanting more. Dishes that always land for us are the tim-tima panner, bhurji, the bhindi masala, the lachha paratha and the super filling lunch specials. But really, you can’t go wrong with choosing anything out of the ordinary here, with a lot of deliberate off-beat dishes made with conviction. Service is always prompt and reliable and they’re happy to accommodate your allergies to make you feel right at home. Unlike the last three restaurants we saw change at this exact location in a short span of time I believe this one has staying power!

I’m not very picky about food, but I do know when something is really good, and this place absolutely gets it right. This was my first visit but my family’s second , and wow… they somehow managed to outdo themselves again. First things first: the servers deserves a big shoutout. Super sweet, genuinely kind, and incredibly welcoming. His positive energy instantly set the vibe for a great meal. And Jashan was so sweet that she remembered my family members who were their earlier and their food preferences Now onto the real star of the show, the food 🤤 Absolute perfection. Easily some of the best in town, with every dish packed full of authentic, rich, feel-good flavors. The chilli momos were a total plot twist (in the best way). No greasy, sauce-drowned fried momos here, these were proper, authentic momos. Perfectly steamed and then cooked in a flavorful gravy. A true game changer. The chilli gobi? UNREAL. So crispy that one bite instantly transported me back to my childhood, those nostalgic, street-style flavors you rarely come across anymore. Both butter naan and garlic naan were soft, fresh, and delicious, but let’s be honest… garlic naan stole the crown and walked away like a winner 👑. The chicken tikka masala deserves a slow clap turning into a full standing ovation. Usually, I’m just here for the gravy because the chicken disappoints, but not at this place. Loved it last time, loved it even more this time. Tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. And the paneer tikka masala? Just as impressive rich, creamy, and bursting with authentic flavors. All in all, this place absolutely nails it, great food, warm service, and an experience that keeps calling you back for “just one more visit.” Highly, highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I am extremely picky when it comes to food and customer service—to the point where very few places impress me twice. But this was my second visit, and wow… this place continues to raise the bar higher every single time. The boy server pankaj and girl jashan deserves a special mention—so sweet, genuinely kind, and incredibly welcoming. Their warmth alone sets the tone for a wonderful dining experience. Now let’s talk about the food—absolute perfection. Hands down, the best in town. Every single dish tasted authentic, rich, and soul-satisfying 🤤 We ordered chilli momos, and unlike the usual fried momos drowned in sauce, these were proper authentic momos—steamed to perfection and then cooked in a flavorful gravy. A total game changer. The chilli gobi was unbelievably crispy—each bite instantly transported me back to my childhood, reminding me of those nostalgic, perfectly made flavors you rarely find anymore. Both butter naan and garlic naan were outstanding, soft, and fresh—but if I had to choose a winner, garlic naan takes the crown without a doubt 👑. The chicken tikka masala deserves a standing ovation. I usually end up only eating the gravy at most restaurants because the chicken never lives up to expectations—but here? I loved it last time and this time too. Tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The paneer tikka masala was equally top-notch—rich, creamy, and packed with authentic flavors. Overall, this place delivers excellence on every level—food, service, and experience. A truly wonderful, memorable dining experience that keeps pulling you back for more. Highly, highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

If I could give -5 I would. Really poor experience ordering on doordash. Completely opposite of what I’m seeing in reviews. Buckets of oil in every item. I ordered “chef’s special murgh malai sauce” and Goan fish - both the Tupperware lids were yellow when I pulled it out of the bag. I can’t describe how much oil was in there so attached a picture. I cursed myself for ordering and putting this in my body and paying for it. Awful. Close your shop.

The best experience I’ve had yet for Indian food, I’ve been to many weddings, restaurant and city events and I do eat a lot of Indian food and this by far has been my favourite so far. The Bomb Bay daily combos are definitely worth the value, you get the main dish, Rice, piece of Tandoori Chicken, Chana salad and Naan. The quality and flavours were amazing, the meat was so tender. The presentation was astonishing and Chef Andy is definitely very passionate about his cuisine and restaurant and does an amazing job and the staff there are very friendly and work very hard. This might be the only place I go to for Indian food from now on.

Bombay Kitchen and Bar on Denman hit the spot. The food had that balance I love — familiar enough to be comforting but with just enough twist to make it interesting. We went with the classic tourist move, masala and something close to it, and it was flat-out excellent. The portions were generous, the kind that make you lean back in your chair halfway through and still go in for more. The room had good energy, nothing stuffy, and the service tied it all together. This place is the real deal. I’d recommend it to anyone, whether you’re a first-timer or chasing that curry fix.

We’ve been going to this place almost once a week for the past 4 weeks and our experience has been great. Their food is great with amazing service from Jeshan and team, and their chef is very friendly and great!

Bombay kitchen denman is a great spot for delicious Indian food in downtown Vancouver. The flavours were rich and authentic, especially the butter chicken and fresh naan. Portions were generous, and everything came out Hot and fresh. The staff were friendly and the service was quick . Definitely a place I’d visit again.

Probably the best Veg Thali in downtown. Comes with 3 curries (unlike a substitute pickle or salad like usual) so great for the price. To nitpick, paneer butter masala was too sweet for my liking.
