Bola Braids

I’ve done my hair with Bola three times. The first time, I was attended by two girls who were sisters, and they were very unprofessional, arguing with each other the entire time. It took them 8 hours to finish my hair, but the hairstyle itself turned out well done. The second time, I had my hair done by Bola, and I absolutely loved the hairstyle. That’s why I went back a third time, but it was a very frustrating experience. The price we agreed on through messages was completely different from what I was charged at the end. She said there were several extra fees and claimed she used human hair, but I never requested human hair. She also said I had chosen a different type of hair that cost an extra $50. I was very upset because I felt like she took advantage of the situation to charge me a different price. I had always recommended her to many people because she truly does great hair, but what was missing was professionalism and honesty when explaining the pricing. So here’s a warning to others: always confirm everything through messages beforehand so the same thing doesn’t happen to you. I read some previous reviews and realized this hasn’t only happened to me. My sister and I will not be going back.

Scheduled an appointment day of and was able to get in! Ms. Bola was amazing and was very precise and careful of her work. She was quick and did a flawless job. Not only is she talented, but she is so very friendly and easy to work with. Thank you again! Will be returning!

I normally don’t leave bad reviews, but this experience ruined my entire Memorial Day weekend. I booked MICRO braids with human hair and showed them BOTH a picture of the exact size I wanted and a picture of my own previous micro braids. They still acted confused when I arrived and claimed they thought my hair was shaved on the sides, which made no sense. The braids looked NOTHING like micros. They looked like large knotless braids with way too much hair added into each braid. I kept politely telling them the parts were too big, but instead of fixing it they kept braiding and made my hair look tangled, cramped, and messy. Then they blamed MY hair, calling it “thick and coarse,” and blamed the YG Wig human hair saying it was hard to braid. I’ve used this same hair for years with other braiders and NEVER had a problem. The issue was clearly their lack of skill with human hair micro braids. When I asked them to fix it and make the parts smaller, they said they “didn’t have time” and would just take my hair out instead. The human hair costs $104 per pack and cannot be reused once tangled into your hair, but they were more worried about time than quality or fixing their mistake. What made it worse is they expected me to leave with my hair undone after wasting hours of my time and ruining my hair and plans to visit my sick mother for Memorial Day weekend. Then the owner texted me late at night talking about “karma” instead of taking accountability. If you want real micro braids with human hair done professionally, I would NOT recommend this shop.

My second time coming here and definitely not the last!! They are so fast and my hair always looks so good. Definitely worth what I paid.

I booked for a 6am appt after 10pm when I landed in ATL and she confirmed shortly after. I didn't have time to properly dry my hair or mention that I have 3 inches of hair but she was kind about it and helped me pick a healthier style. Plus, she did my small knotless in 4 hrs!!! Im definitely booking in advance for my next trip in ATL!!!

So I went to Bola 2 weeks ago and she forgot that I booked with her so she told another girl to come braid my hair…this girl knew that my hair was short and that the hair couldn’t stay in with this style so 2 days later my braids started coming out…when I told her about it, she did nothing to fix the issue or reimburse me!! She could have at least fixed my hair (individuals) instead of knotless braids and now she’s ignoring me

Ms. Bola is amazing! Her braiding is very neat, fast, and accurate. She’s professional, detail-oriented, and made sure I was satisfied with my style. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for quality braids done efficiently and beautifully. Also took my sister when my sister mentioned she would like her done also.

I was in love with my hair, it didn’t take long and they took me as a walk in once my hair appointment got canceled last minute! Hair was provided and I paid an affordable price for waist length medium knotless with color. I would highly recommend to anyone who needs their hair braided!!

I had my hair done. Booked the last minute and was taken in. The owner is very professional, friendly and makes you comfortable. The place is clean. The Braider who did my hair, Corra was very professional. She put all her attention on my head and my hair. The owner has built a great culture of professionalism in her shop. Her interaction with her coworkers and customers is commendable!! Will recommend. They deliver beyond what you ask. Will be going back!!

I scheduled a last minute appointment because my stylist canceled last minute. Not only did Bola fit me in right away and get my goddess braids done in time for my birthday dinner, but she slayed. I will be back. Thank you so much for the experience. We had fun while getting it done too.
