Bob's Sewing Machine Repair

I’m so glad I found Bob’s Sewing Repair online this week. I’m a new sewist and was experiencing a feed dog issue (turns out it was actually user error) with my new Janome. I purchased the machine through an online out-of-state dealer and when I called the store’s service line, they were all but useless. Enter Bob. He graciously etched out time for me the following day to help me troubleshoot the issue. He even showed me a valuable sewing tip that will help me avoid knotting at the beginning of a stitch. He was very honest and accommodating and is VERY reasonably priced. He was a pleasure to meet. I will definitely be getting my machine serviced through Bob going forward, including for yearly maintenance. Thank you so much, Bob!

I brought my machine to be serviced because the tension was a hot mess! I absolutely loved the shop! It was filled with antique machines and vintage sewing notions. The Mrs. gave me a tour and answered questions... I had a ball! But the reason I took time to leave a review is because today I finally sat down to do some sewing. My machine is running like a DREAM! Bob definitely knows what he is doing! I would highly recommend this shop. They are lovely people who enjoy what they do!

A Singer sewing machine was given to my wife from family. It hadn’t been operated in many years, and I decided to take it over to Bob’s to ask him take a look at it and give it a tuneup. First off, Bob is an extremely personable guy, coupled with incredible knowledge of the workings of machines. He took one look at my machine and said “oh, this is the same model of machine my wife learned to sew on”. I told him the story, my wife had mentioned that she wished the sewing machine was working. To surprise her, I called up Bob’s and dropped it off. A week or so later I came back and it was all cleaned up like new. He then offered me a tutorial on how to operate the machine being threaded and all of its functions. I took a video of him showing me so that now I can have Bob ‘show’ her. Thanks Bob, you know I’ll call you if I ever need anything to do with our machine.

Unfortunately Bob was unable to fix my Berina sewing machine, but he did look at it the same day I called him. Seems pretty knowledgable.

I was gifted an old beautiful Featherweight Singer machine and it was super gunked up and in need of some love and care. Bob was amazing, kind and cleaned her right up.. looks good as new! I'm off to get creative with my new spiffed up machine! Thanks Bob!!

Excellent Service! Bob was so very kind and took the time to educate me and sort my problem out in no time. If you need your machine looked at, there is now better place or guy in the Southern Willamette Valley to do it. Would recommend and will be coming back!
