I had this company buy a car from me through Motorway. The woman I had spoke to over the phone and text was amazing and great. The older man named ‘Bob’ that was collecting the car I cannot say the same about. The collection time he had come was in the week, when we had all been working from home, which wasn’t the best time so we didn’t have too much time to prepare the car by removing the snow as it had snowed the day before, but the inside was all clean and the outside had been freshly washed. He had came around 12 and had a look and drove the car not very well. It had snowed pretty heavily so the car did have some snow on. He thought it was appropriate to make small comments about ‘if I didn’t want to sell the car, he would leave.’ Because the car had some snow on which was easily cleared. He repeatedly made comments that he would leave if we didn’t want to sell the car even though we had done nothing to imply anything like that. We did welcome him inside the house but he willingly stood outside in the snow. When we transferred the log book, we usually are supposed to keep the rest and just hand over the green new keeper slip, but he was very adamant that he ‘did this often’ and had to take the whole book, which isn’t usually standard but we hesitantly handed it all over. I hope he sees this feedback and improves.
