BMT Guitar Tuition Hastings

It is my opinion that Ben is by far the best guitar tutor that I have had the privilege of being tutored by in my 47years of playing guitar. He is totally thorough and highly professional in every aspect of his teaching with video guidance and an endless saply of sheet music and tablature he has put the fun back in to learning how to play guitar at what ever stage you are at on your guitar journey. I highly recommend Ben 100% when it comes to teaching guitar he is one of the the best.

Ben Haa been teaching my 12 year old son guitar for the last 10 months. Ben is a brilliant teacher and comes to our home always on time and always fully prepared, having planned the lesson carefully. His interactions with my son are friendly, positive, appropriately challenging in terms of expectations when teaching e.g requesting something is repeated if not quite there or finding a different way of demonstrating. At all times it's fun and my son literally runs home from school to be ready on time and is so excited on the day of his lessons. My son Saul has developed enormously with Ben's enthusiasm, guidance and expert tuition. Ben sets homework, sends clear emails through after each lesson re-capping what Saul worked on in the lesson and homework in between. Includes are instructions and picture format notations. Ben also sends videos of strumming patterns for example. His verbal feedback to Saul is always clear and positive. We feel so lucky to have found Ben and he has established a very healthy working relationship with Saul. Saul is now a very competent guitarist and Ben has encouraged him to take his Grade 5 exams. Usually Saul does not enjoy what may feel like a pressured situation in terms of being graded, but Ben has helped him see the benefits and his confidence in his ability is high so Saul has jumped at the chance. He hopes now to study music as he goes forward in life. Many thanks Ben from Saul and all the family.

Ben is an enthusiastic teacher with a friendly upbeat manner who knows how to engage my son who has had several guitar teachers over the years but since he has been receiving lessons from Ben, he has come on in leaps and bounds and really enjoys playing the guitar. I have found the feedback reports from Ben particularly useful in tracking what my son is working on and needs to work on and useful tips to help him improve. I thoroughly recommend Ben at BTM. Ben is a fantastic teacher guitar teacher and his lessons are positive, engaging and enjoyable. In just a few sessions I have made good progress with my technique and feel much more confident about solos - something I have tended to avoid! I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone wanting to learn, or develop their playing.

Excellent music teacher after only a month was proficiently playing Clapton the who and several others pieces. Really enjoy my lessons Ben explains everything and makes it easy for me to play things I would have thought way beyond my capabilities . Always prompt and very reasonably priced for such a well qualified tutor . I was on verge giving up but Ben has given me hope and enabled me to become a much better and skilled person .

Since my son has started lessons with Ben Taylor he has come along leaps and bounds. He loves his lessons and always looks forward to them. Ben makes the lessons fun and engaging, really getting to know my son's interests and adapting his teaching to suit his needs. I have been particularly impressed with the communication and use of resources, especially as it has to be remotely, the lessons always run smoothly and my son is always provided with the music to practice immediately after his lessons. I’ve enjoyed my guitar lessons with Ben and he has been able to progress my skills. He has improved my music theory knowledge and my playing technique. Each lesson has been crafted in a fun and intuitive way. He is very accommodating and takes time explain in detail.

Having played only classical guitar for many years, I decided to make a return to electric, with the help of Ben. He very quickly honed in on my strengths and areas to work on, and within 2/3 lessons I'd pretty much cracked the solo to Back in Black - a lifetime ambition ticked off!
