A successful Oder removal from a simple leak in a basement in Granger. We helped out a family get their movie room back by addressing the moisture in the carpet that had accumulated for enough time to saturate the room. Rather than extract, the proper procedure is to properly disengage the carpet, and removing and replacing the material which is the source of the Oder. For this job we ended up sanitizing and removing the tack strips which were no longer sanitary, and dried the structure thoroughly as well. Structural drying is very important to prevent further damage which is what the customer initially wanted us to do. Reengaging the carpet is also important which we were able to do afterward.
