Today kicks off “Pursuit of Happiness” week. This event, always celebrated the second full week of November, was established as a special time to focus on the phrase in the Declaration of Independence that asserts our right, in addition to life and liberty, to “the pursuit of happiness.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

One way to increase your sense of happiness is to gain control over your personal surroundings. When your living environment is cluttered, it tends to lead to feelings of anxiety, stress and, in some cases, even depression. The more overwhelmed you feel, the less likely you are to take measures to tackle the situation. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
