We recently worked with Austin starting right after getting a new puppy, as well as to help with our older dog fixing some behaviors we don’t care for. Austin was amazing to work with! He has a calm demeanor our dogs responded well too, and introduced concepts in a way that made it easy for us as a busy family to work with our dogs. I feel confident in what we learned that we can continue to build on these positive behaviors and am so glad we invested the money in our dogs by hiring Austin. I can recommend him enough!

HI can’t say enough about our training experiences with Austin. He is like the next dog whisperer. He is so knowledgeable and had our dogs obeying simple commands after the first session. He is responsive if we have questions outside of the sessions and spends extra time each session over the time we have hired him for. It’s been amazing to watch our dogs transform so quickly. They love the discipline and love to work for us. They are much happier dogs and we are much happier owners. I highly highly recommend this service and Austin specifically. From what I’ve heard his other trainers are just as knowledgeable…you can not go wrong. It’s worth your time and money!

When we adopted our new pup, who is 40% Siberian husky, we knew after our first attempted walk with her that we would need a serious trainer to help us. Blue Sky Canine Training was highly recommended to us by our groomer. Ryan was very patient with us and taught us how to train our 10 month old pup, Missy. The techniques and drills he taught us helped us gain better control and helped her to understand what we were asking her to do. Ryan always explained the “why” behind everything as he coached us. We can walk our pup now without feeling like we are being pulled by a sled dog! The use of the prong collar has helped greatly and Ryan’s coaching about when and how to use it has been invaluable. He has always been available for follow up calls and texts when we’ve had questions as things came up. We look forward to maintaining what we’ve learned through Blue Sky and Ryan.

Ryan at Blue Sky Canine is fantastic. Ryan was the first trainer I met with that took the time to understand what training approach would work best for our dog and family. Ryan takes the time to explain training and is dynamic with what works best for our dog. I was nervous about getting a trainer and could not be more happy with my decision. After meeting Ryan and seeing his approach and open communication and the progress my pup has made I can say hands down one of the best decisions I made for my pup and family. I cannot recommend Blue Sky Canine enough. We have two golden retriever girls (4 yr and 2 yrs). They behaved well-ish when it was just us in our home. But were uncontrollable balls of energy at all other times. We noticed a difference in their behavior immediately, they were calmer. After the 4 week training session they are new dogs and so enjoyable to be around. Scheduling was easy and very convenient since it was based around our work schedule. Worth every single penny!!! We love Austin!

Training with Blue Sky Canine was life changing for myself and my puppy Piper. Ryan has been so diligent and knowledgeable, and I notice significant improvements with Piper’s behavior and obedience after each lesson. He genuinely cares about the progress she makes and is personally dedicated to her success. We’ve made it through puppy training and I’ve chosen them again for more advanced lessons as well. Training is definitely an investment of both time and money, but working with Blue Sky has been worth every second.

We are SO thankful for Blue Sky Canine! Austin's expertise, guidance, and patience were unmatched. At the beginning of the year, we moved to Colorado and our 9-month-old Dutch shepherd, Riggins, developed severe separation anxiety the minute we moved into our new place. It was so bad that we weren't able to leave our house together for over two months without fear of angering our neighbors. Riggins would bark nonstop, whine, and destroy various parts of our home despite medication, supplements, chews, and crate training, After trying everything we could, we knew we needed professional help to get back our life. After researching and speaking with many dog trainers, we decided to move forward with Blue Sky Canine and Austin because of his extensive knowledge of our dogs' breed, customized training programs, and passion for working dogs. We decided to enroll in the 6-week day training program and after some intensive work, Riggins was FINALLY able to be left alone without barking or destroying anything in sight. To say we were relieved is an understatement - it was absolutely life-changing for us. Beyond curing his separation anxiety, Austin worked with us on creating a fulfilling life for our dog, we tightened up his obedience, introduced scent work and bite work, and learned how to stimulate him not only physically but mentally. My only regret was not starting his training sooner. It's the best investment we've ever made for our family and our dog's well-being. Can't say thank you enough!

Nevin boarded and trained our sweet and smart but high-energy 16mo wheaten terrier and within a few weeks was able to potty train, crate train, “place” on his bed, leash and basic commands like sit and lay down, and more. He also started foundational work for “come”. Nevin is very skilled and compassionate and we’re impressed by how much he accomplished with our untrained puppy in a short period of time! Beyond Nevin’s skills, he and Austin were so great to work with! They are both very positive, helpful, and easygoing people. They responded quickly and helpfully to all my questions and worked with our budget and schedule! Overall, we’re very happy we chose Blue Sky Canine and highly recommend.

My wife and I used Blue Sky for both of our dogs and we have never regretted it. We wanted well trained dogs for when our kids were born and they delivered excellent training centered around child safety and obedience. Board training was fantastic and convenient for vacations. One of our dogs was very insecure and aggressive with other dogs. After training with Blue Sky she is a new dog now. Blue Sky gives owners the HOW and the WHY behind the training which gives them the confidence to maintain happy, healthy and obedient dogs. Nevin was our trainer and he’s the GOAT!!!!!
