Doug was a pleasure to work with. Recent heavy rains showed that my driveway needed extra gravel and leveling. He was quick and professional, even pointing out part of my problem was that my whole roof rain runoff was coming down on my driveway prompting me to research getting the gutters fixed/moved. This allowed me to fix a potentially flooding issue along with not having the next heavy rain wash away his hard work. 100% recommend and would hirer again!

Doug's work is excellent. We have a long, steep driveway, and he always manages to make it look like new. In three years of maintaining our driveway he's only needed to add gravel once, which has saved us a lot of money. He is reliable and easy to communicate with. We're glad we found him!

I'd been having issues with my driveway gravel washing out due to all the rain we've been getting, so I did some DIY mitigation then contacted Doug for help. He was responsive, cordial, and quick to provide a cost estimate for re-grade and a date of service. I wasn't home when he came by to re-grade the driveway. Instead of moving forward, however, he left a card and a message, suggesting I should save my money ... the driveway looked great and didn't need the work! He could've easily re-graded and charged me for the job, I wouldn't have known better. But he didn't. I even offered to pay him for the inconvenience of slogging all the way out to my place, but he declined. Thank you Doug for your honesty and integrity! It's a rare commodity these days.

Doug redid my driveway today. I have patched it over the years when I could get gravel but he did a much better and more thorough job. Outstanding work!

Doug did a terrific job on our 1000’ of driveway and converted deep ruts and holes into a perfectly shaped masterpiece. Very reasonable price and great attention to detail!

Doug actually showed up early for the job. He shaved down a hump we had in the driveway and redistributed the gravel that was already there, but had been pushed out to the sides from years of use. I had purchased about 7 tons of gravel in case it was needed, but that was used for the trailer pad that he improved for us. My wife and I are extremely pleased with the work that was done and the driveway looks great now. The pad for our trailer is much more level than it was and it's much easier to park and level the trailer there now. I can't recommend Doug's company enough. When we need to have it regraded again in the future, it will be done by Blue Ridge Gravel Repair.

I would like to thank Doug Bittner on behalf of the Gore Autumn Trails HOA. As all know , being the president of the HOA is a thankless job. Doug was able to offer some relief with his professionalism , his attention to detail and communication. The initial job in early April was executed well but he even returned in late May to re-grade the roads and did an excellent job. Udate April 23, 2025 After 1 year of use, the lane is still in a great shape, documenting the fine work done the previous year. Additional shaping was done today, where Doug was very diligent to accomplish the set goals in a cooperative and very cost effective manner. Again five stars. Blue Ridge Gravel Repair did an amazing job on our lane with large and deep potholes. Doug Bittner followed through with everything he said in a transparent, respectful and thorough manner. The cost is certainly competitive, especially in view of the quality of work performed.
